A spot to post all the off season signing, trades etc.
Yankees keeping their power dry. No big signings yet. Tucker might cost too much, so I think they go hard on Bellinger.

BB is sooooooo f[raiders_icon]cking out of whack without the cap.....They are heading for another tank with the labor relations about to take place and the no limit salaries the Dodgers keep throwing out to buy a pennant.
MLB better pull it's head out of its ass soon....

Los Angeles, meanwhile, now has a 2026 luxury-tax payroll of $413.6 million before final salaries are set for pre-arbitration and arbitration-eligible players. That is 30% higher than the league’s No. 2 spender, the Mets. The Dodgers also now have more than $2.1 billion in total guaranteed compensation commitments, 67% larger than the second-largest MLB team on that list, the Padres.
What MLB needs to realize is....this is not sustainable.

The New York Yankees and outfielder Cody Bellinger are in agreement on a five-year, $162.5 million contract, sources told ESPN's Jeff Passan on Wednesday, ending a standoff between two sides that preferred to reunite all winter long.
The deal includes opt-outs after the second and third seasons, a $20 million signing bonus and a full no-trade clause, sources said.

Was reading A MLB article that said the Dodgers payroll was 5 Million more.
Than the bottom 6 teams.....of which the Cleveland team.....(Sorry Death)
Because of the last rule changes, mostly the pitch count...MLB viewership is up.
If they want to take the next step with a lockout looming...time for MLB and owners to take a reset and bring sanity back to the sport.
There isn't 1 person reading this that would think it would be OK in the NFL.

I would say to the Dodger haters "cry more,'" but the truth is I just don't get all that worked up about baseball anymore. Salaries ARE whack.
Nice to see some fun Dodger highlights, but I bet I don't see more than a few hours of hard ball a year.
