...I used to look forward to these games for days.....now, sitting here on a day off, drinking my coffee, coming here and seeing this thread is what even reminded me we are playing tonight.

I won’t ever root against the Raiders during a game, as in hoping for the higher draft pick. Especially true against a long time hated rival. But these days I take the losses in stride and look at mock drafts.

Of course I want a win but this season is lost and I hope the donkies or chargers keep winning to keep the chiefs down

Division game on a Thursday are the only things giving me some hope. Raiders 20 - Broncos 17.

Broncos have been a pretty fortunate team that’s not played as well as their record indicates but their defense is elite and it’s a nightmare matchup for Kelly’s college offense and a QB that’s playing neutered and scared to throw deep. I’m just hoping the defense can keep it close and not another humiliating prime time loss.

The Donks, while winning, haven't actually been playing great, so we have a chance to pull off an upset.

However, when 3rd and long presents a great opportunity for the opposing offense to get a big play, it doesn't bode well for us.

And who knows how many times our O is going to turn the ball over against Denver's legitimately good defense. Their plan will be like everyone else's: stack the box and make Geno beat you. It's a proven recipe for success.

The Raiders blew their collective wad last Sunday...this should be an epic beat down & Geno may not survive the 1st half!

Realistically where do you rank the team at the midway point.

I got us 5th from the bottom. Worse teams than us have to be
Jets
Dolphins
Saints
Browns

It is close with the Browns, but I still have them slightly worse than us

Nix is my qb in a league i teally need a win in, so that means the raiders will destroy him.

Titans are worse than us but other than that I think you're dead on. And the only reason we're better than those teams is Bowers (and Jeanty).

As usual I won’t be surprised if we win or if we lose. In other words nothing is certain with this team other than long term losing.
