Next up……….Jacksonville Jags 11/2
Plenty of threads discussing blowing everything up and venting after Sundays disaster. As I type this we have 13 days to get that out of our system before we play our next game. Raiders are physically and mentally limping right now but hopefully Bowers and others will be healed and rested for Jax. Jax is coming off a bye week as well so both teams will be rested and presumably prepared. Discuss

Lose the rest -- I don't care anymore. Get the highest pick possible then trade down and get 2-3 good players in return via the draft. But wait -- can we draft well -- ever? I have no confidence in the organization anymore.

If we are drafting in one of the top two spot; need to start with franchise QB….RunOverByHubbard wrote: Mon Oct 20, 2025 10:44 am Lose the rest -- I don't care anymore. I'll be at this game. I sure hope the Raiders play well and turn things around.
They all need to look in the mirror after that KC game.

Go play a few rounds of golf over the next week or so and revisit this ;)

Maybe the time change will push The Raiders in a new direction.

You have more faith than me after all these decades. I did play golf yesterday and saw none of the game. I did not even bother to watch the highlights, as after I took a quick look at the game stats, why should I bother. I will play more golf and then hit the ski slopes ASAP when the season is in the final stages. With 5 losses already, the odds of making the playoffs are abysmal. Wait, there must be a stat on that....here is it my the ubiquitous AI thing:Xramfan wrote: Mon Oct 20, 2025 10:51 am You’re not ready yet.

The odds of an NFL team making the playoffs after starting 2-5 are low, with history showing that approximately 6% to 9% of teams who start 2-5 have made it to the postseason since 1990. Specifically, 7 to 8 teams out of 144 have made the playoffs after a 2-5 start in recent history, which is around a 5% to 6% success rate.
I would think that having the extra game (the 17th) gives you a slightly better chance. But, worst case is to win 3-5 more games and then draft middle of each round.

Baltimore will definitely move on from this list. The other teams have a good chance of staying right where they are. Miami could start winning since the coach's job is on the line. I'm not sure if the Giants can make much noise without Skattebo. I don't think The Raiders will crack top 5.
