Well if Geno can throw an accurate FB more than 30 yards I guess it's an upgrade?
I believe his last year with Carrol he lead the league in explosive pass plays.
Unfortunately it was fools gold as he was a paper tiger.
I disagree
He was legit in 2016 and was in the mvp running for a reason
After the injury he just starting playing a pussified brand of football. He really wasn’t doing the pûssy shit before the injury.
And now we wait for the terms.

So that's $31M (prior to extension) + $85.5M (extension) = 3 years / $116.5M. Only $66.5M guaranteed so we'll see what this year and the next account for. Hoping the Raiders left themselves a solid 'out' after two seasons if things aren't working.

That's less than he was trying to get from Seattle...very team friendly, but sounds like it worked out well for both sides.

Honestly that’s a great price. Comes out around 15th in the league and Geno is in the 10-15 QB range

Very reasonable given where the cap is at. Seems a likely out after two seasons

Good deal for the Raiders, good deal for Smith. Minimal impact on Raiders' cap. Essentially 2 years guaranteed, so that should take QB off the table in the first round.
