not air yards, but after the catch maybe but whatever, we won and that's all that matters!!!
Except for the fact that you're wrong. Carr is top 10 in Intended Air yards, Completed Air Yards, Completed Air yards Per Completion & Completed Air yards per Pass Attempt.

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/ ... vanced.htm
Except nobody claimed 'top 10' as the goalposts except you just now.

"#1 or #2 in 20 plus yard completions", followed by "#5 in 20+ yard completions"

Then his response was "well not air yards".

Then your response of "You were wrong he is top 10 in [numerous stats that were not part of the discussion at all]".

So, it was you who was wrong. How is he in completions over 20 air yards, is he #1 or #2, even #5?

The goalposts never stop moving for some of you.

* Good to see those stats though, but that is you starting another discussion entirely.

Quit trying to use big words, when your reading comprehension can't even follow the discussion at hand.

But you keep holding onto that slim shred of syntactic differentiation .

The point though is that this season Carr has been off and especially on deep throws. 7 air yards is not 20+.

Sometimes you just can't assume. So please show me something I am missing.

Zero completions over 20 yards tonight. You can see the game chart on the previous page here which sparked this discussion. He was 0 for 2 there.

Here is last weeks passing chart with him completing two passes over 20 air yards. See those misses though? 2 for 5 here.

Some more sources.

We also have all seen that he was at a 6 passer rating, with three interceptions after week 2 on 20+ air yards. It has been linked multiple times. I will find it for you.

His deep ball is having trouble this season, which was the point.

Here ya go SooperK. Again, I really liked your wordplay except I am far older than a boy and silly just don't fit, but again, your words were wrong - not his.

He is 3/14 this season with two interceptions on throws over 20 yards. 0/2 tonight, 2/5 against the Cardinals, and 1/7 in weeks one and two (Shown below or in the linked game charts).

I majored in Math and Software, not english, so I prefer cold hard facts and I can figure out how to get them.

I wish there had been someway, anyway that we could have kept Mariota to start and be the bridge to our new 2023 QB and dump carrancer. This would have been very, very good imo. But unfortunately that stupid massive contract of carrancer's screwed up any chance of that. The HO did the only thing they could, restructure so they can get rid of his cancerous, chickenshit, lame ass next year. If only. Well hopefully only 1 more season to have to wait till the cancer is finally cut out and discarded into the trash.

I very happy the Raiders won, I just hope it doesn't f[raiders_icon]ck up our chances on getting a franchise QB next draft.
It wasn't the gameplan. The gameplan was fast offense and heavy runs to keep them defense from teeing off. It's why we went with some tempo early.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing

From what i saw our QB was way off & we had no choice but to rely on the run game

Even when we relied on the run game which should open up the field McDaniels didn't really dial up anything big which is worrying because it says more about our QB than any gameplan

After 9 years it was good to see Carr finally realizing he is allowed to run the ball on occasion. Maybe Carr's best game ever using his legs. Probably one of his worst when it came to his passing accuracy. Jekyll and Hyde Carr was there in full view.

In one of the other threads I stated that McD would definitely stick his foot in Denver's ass with playcalling. We saw the good McD yesterday.

You'd think for a guy with fumbling issues he'd be more careful. Yesterday really confirmed it for me that there is nothing I can do to get behind him as our QB anymore. Even when we're winning he makes me nauseous like at any moment he'll just drop the ball or completely self destruct.
Yesterday really confirmed it for me that there is nothing I can do to get behind him as our QB anymore.
It confirmed that he can be a contributor to a win and on occasion be the primary contributor, but he'll never be The Man.

Next week, the team will be on national television playing the best QB in the league and it will once again be apparent why relying on Carr to be our franchise QB is hopeless beyond description.

As everyone else has said, props to him for having a solid game yesterday. He stayed within himself and did what he needed to do. But if anyone here watched the Chiefs dismantle the Bucs last night, it's beyond obvious that we need to go a very different direction to ever have a chance at competing with KC.
