For me it's as simple as if you can't score, you can't win. Not to mention the defense blows.

I'm a little worried about the Chiefs game now. The ultimate troll job would be for the Chiefs to no-show to keep the Raiders from landing the first overall pick. Minshew in brief action yesterday already proved that last season in Vegas wasn't a fluke. He's terrible.

Diego Pavia did himself no favors this weekend. I think Fernando should be the guy but that being said, as I asked in another thread. Why would Mendoza want to come to the Raiders? It's not out of the question for a draft pick to force a team to deal him or not draft him.

I don't believe it's a stretch to say that the Raiders, as they are, are amongst the worst run organizations in the history of professional sports.

If I am a father would I wan't my son to play QB for the Raiders?

That scratches he very surface yes, but whats your next move?
They have to considering what they have so they can identify what they need.

if you are the top pick in the draft, you are more than likely going to a bad team. That is how it goes. And yet, every year a QB goes to a bad team and sometimes they make them better and sometimes they don't.

They need everything but a RB and a TE

Exactly. I mean you want him to force his way to the Jets? Browns? Those franchises are as bad as we are (and id argue NYJ is a much worse place for a qb to go, at least Carr got 9 years of money from us, hed have been kicked out crying of new york much sooner).

I wouldn't mind drafting Mendoza AND Pavia. Drafting 2 QBs would give us a better chance of finding "our guy" as opposed to only drafting 1 QB.

Draft 2 QBs, trade Maxx in return for draft pick/s and then use the draft and cap space to address the OL and DL.

If we can improve both the OL and DL, that would make the jobs of our QB's, RBs, and DBs much easier.

Ill add Kolton and 2 recievers with great hands in Bech and Mayer plus a decent no. 2 in Tucker.

I wouldn't trade Maxx. He has 5 or 6 years left in his prime.
A bird in the hand is worth more than 2 in the draft.

Probably more like 3 or 4 years...and this franchise is 2-3-4 years away from realistically turning things around. So as things are now, the Raiders are so bad that Crosby's best years are being wasted.

And Mad Maxx's value will never be more than it is right now and the longer we wait the lesser he would bring via a trade.

There's also a saying that goes something like, "It's better to move a player 1-2 years too early than it is to move a player 1-2 years too late".

Pavia is trying to return to Vandy, working with NCAA on it right now.

We said the same with Mack and look how that ended.
Maxx is the standard, a powerful face of the franchise. They cant trade him.

Don't see how the 2 parallel and currently, Maxx is "the face" of a shitty team with no compass...Mack was 3 years younger and played a completely different position and played for a completely different regime. And the Raiders team he played for at the time wasn't in complete disarray as the current Raiders team is.

I don't see a rational reason for wasting the cap hit and talent of Crosby on a team in the condition the Raiders are. The money and draft picks can be used elsewhere.
