Opened up things for Hollins. How nice would it be if we found a diamond with this kid. His size and speed it tough to contend with (especially for a #2/#3 CB.

The entire right side (RT and TE) whiffed on their blocks.

This throw is the new expectation for top tier QBs, and Carr is consistently paid like one. It's not an easy throw, but it's a throw he should make considering he is our highest paid player and has teacher's tenure when it comes to job security. He's simply not that good. If he were, he would make those.

He had green in front of him as an option. We got lucky it was a PI

And as for the green in front of him, he had a good 5-8 yards to run forward and put his weight into the pass instead of throwing 40 yds in the air while running sideways.

If we'd let Carr go and brought in someone like Taylor Heinicke, then okay, you don't expect guys like that to be able to make all the throws a top 10 or top 5 QB does. But this offense is built around the assumption that Carr can and should be able to make all those throws.

Of course, no QB is going to make every throw every time. There are going to be bad passes no matter who it is, but Carr has several of these missed throws in most games.
