I didn't mention anything about Carr in my posts because it was never my mission to defend him, just wanted to clear up what offense we'reactually running as a team.
I feel it.
It was not you making the excuses I was talking about btw, it was dipshit Derek saying 'he is learning the offense still'.
Whatever he can do to not accept responsibility while giving us 'it's on me' quotes is basically his MO. The Fresno fraud.
to be honest, we are not running a spread offense. We are being forced at times to deviate from the process due to in game adjustments, but he is trying to make us a run first offense. It does appear it is based on the EP schemes but we fall back into our own ineptitude all too quickly forcing us to move to more of a spread (kinda of) offense
From what i’ve seen it was a modified EP scheme he tan in NE last year that i’ve seen called Air Erhardt from players & coaches that watch the game
The issue is that i think our QB isn't as studious as is made out because i’ve seen loads of QB with first year HC & OC’s thrive so this needing time to learn the offence excuse is a complete no go
There is a huge part of me that wants Carr to pick it up & smash it all the way to the SB but knowing Carr there is also a part of me that want him to suck straight to hell so we can be done with him, what we’ll get in all reality is a QB just good enough to keep us away from a threat but bad enough to keep us from being a threat
Yes, and you have to believe that NFL coaches have tried to correct these issues. Perhaps Carr has a high opinion of himself and is not humble enough to take the coaching to heart and work on fixing these glaring errors in his mechanics. He doesn't seem to sweat the details of his own performance. Very disappointing and it is clearly time to pull the plug. Josh has to see that or he will go down with Carr.
I think it's a lack of confidence.

I am still pissed at Gruden for picking Carr over Brady.
I am still pissed at Gruden for picking Carr over Brady.
There is no way Gruden's douchebag mini-dictator way of running things would have jived with Brady. He needed an obedient idiot like Carr to boss around.
For me there were so many opportunities to move on from Carr.
We lost 5 straight games in 2018 with Carr looking damn near inept every step of the way. The Cardinals game was when we all understood the season was completely lost, but instead of benching the chosen one, we won 3 of our last 7, avoiding Kyler Murray.
2018 is still the most disturbing season from Gruden personally. It basically confirmed every single issue I had with him as a coach, and it was year 1. After that, the Brady situation isn't surprising, at all.
It doesn't change the fact that Mac Jones as a rookie matched Carr's numbers in Carr's 4th year in the Gruden system.
Nor does it change the fact that Carr is sucking ass this year with a remarkably similar system to the one Mac Jones learned in an offseason.
More excuses for 'why Carr sucks', which is just white noise at this point. He should try not sucking.
Anyone who simply watches the games can see that the main problem is simply poorly thrown balls. He has thrown INTs that could have been TDs. He has missed a wide open TE in the endzone that should have been a TD. When the offense simply needed one first down to burn a bit of clock, he missed wildly on his throws. This is not some complex schematic thing that has Carr confused, this is him missing wide open WRs and creating turnovers for the other team. This is not complex.
Carr has simply played poorly in the first two games and in doing so is the main reason the Raiders are now 0 - 2. Are there other contributing factors? Sure. But if Carr did not play poorly, the Raiders are 2 -0. I really don't know how anyone who has watched the games can come to any other conclusion.
What is disconcerting is that Carr has carried over the weak ass play he finished off last season to this year. So this is not merely a string of two bad games but rather a string of 8 bad games. That is what worries me most.

Sooperkool, I'm impressed with your football knowledge. If you're a bullshitter, I say I'd have to be impressed with that also.
