Definitely agree with you. Would love to move him while we can get a good return. And I don't think Maxx is some upstanding example of leadership that other players should model themselves after. I'd rather build the franchise around guys like Bowers, Jeanty, and Mendoza than Maxx's larger than life ego. It's been beat to death and we're almost certainly going to have to wait some time for movement on this. My price for Maxx is lower than anyone else's, a 1st and a 2nd or 3rd. I'd absolutely take a package of Pickens over him. Pickens has had bad moments on the field that resulted in fines but he's never inserted himself into off-field decisions like Maxx has. I don't mind guys getting emotional and losing it in the middle of a game. That's the type of human behavior I like in my players, that will rally his teammates to play harder. I dislike guys trying to select the coach, or suggesting they're tired of playing for a losing franchise. He is part of the team, so unfortunately, if you follow the team, you have to follow his girlish drama. Not too hard to connect the dots. I hope he is not on the team, as I feel he is on the decline and would be better to get something for him sooner rather than later.
The team gave him too much leash earlier and he needs to be reeled in. Just shut up and play-you’re not that deep.

Not a chance. Really good defensive ends are harder to find. I’d rather find a WR in the draft or FA and if we want Trey, go after him too, I think that would actually be pretty sick to have him and Maxx both.
