yes, they will feed off each otherALLRAIDERWORLD21 wrote: Thu Jan 01, 2026 3:48 pm Not only that, Jeanty will greatly benefit from the young franchise QB. As of now, defenses have no respect for Geno and can constantly stack the box. You’ll have to drop your safeties and LBs with Mendoza..Jeanty might even be able to get the hand off without having three defenders draped all over him.

hopefully the next regime will consider adding a fullback back into the offense. as bad as this ol has been, have to protect the projected #1 overall pick, and give jeanty some help in the backfield as a lead blocker.

Doesnt bama have one of the top recruits as a freshman qb? If he keeps back he runs the risk of losing his job

I think Mendoza passed the SEC Defense test. This dude is going 16-0, winning a Natty, winning a Heisman, and gonna be the the first pick in the draft.

He’s cheesy as f[raiders_icon]ck but it’s kind of endearing, after a Carr interview I always felt really cringy.

Obvious that once again Alabama got in because of what Alabama used to be. Not what they are now.
Until proven otherwise any attempt by the selection committee to give Alabama a pass should be recognized for exactly what it is.

I'm a Marinovich fan, totally agree. He had Raider energy. I was joking but didn't mean it as too much of a slight against ToddToast wrote: Thu Jan 01, 2026 3:14 pm Honestly, Todd was the real deal, he should have been our franchise QB and had a great 10-12 years. Off the field stuff derailed him.
His teammates loved him. The kid didn't have a chance, he never had a childhood lived it as a Raider. He would have been great under Gruden or Shanny. I don't think the Stabler comparisons did him any favors either though there were many similarities. I'll always be a Marinovich fan.
But, I understand your point.

You are tripping as usual, they beat OU that was playing the best D in college FB lol, and Miami which took YOUR spot just kicked OSU's ass, and then ND whined & cried, and said I wont play a bowl game Boo f[raiders_icon]cking Hoo until the selection committee said we will guarantee you a place in the playoffs next year even though you choose your Pathetic patsy schedule & play less games...f[raiders_icon]ck ND & their pussy schedule!!! Sure we got our ass kicked but we aren't whining pussy's!Willmark wrote: Thu Jan 01, 2026 4:29 pm Obvious that once again Alabama got in because of what Alabama used to be. Not what they are now.

Yeah, the program has had some inertia with the voters because of the history and the conference.Willmark wrote: Thu Jan 01, 2026 4:29 pm Obvious that once again Alabama got in because of what Alabama used to be. Not what they are now.

The bigger problem with the CFP was giving group of 5 teams bids when they are outclassed ie Tulane and James Madison, it will get changed next year but a couple teams got screwed this year.
