Offense looked good. Defense could use some work. Always good to get a win. Thoughts?

As it turned out, elevating Cody White was a good decision. And, yes, he did receive the first game ball. Way to hustle!
And this from Coach:

We have completely new systems on both sides of the ball. A bunch of new players and coaches. And we still looked more organized and better prepared than we have in years. Win or lose, at least we don't look like a clown show.
It was a fun game to watch. It's been a while...

This i am going to disagree with. Was the game in the bag if Washington coughs up a fumble? Game was definitely not in the bag on any of our offensive possesions besides the last kneel down one.
Either running back could fumble. Washington should of been more fresh while Jeanty seemed a little gassed at the end. And to me gassed players would be more app to make an error or get injuried. Have to trust both of these backs. Mike is a bruiser and would of played against a tired defense at the end.
Have to trust the our D with a two TD lead too.

Thats a reasonable argument if you think Washington was the better bet there to help us win the game but the game was still definitely not in the bag. We have lost many such games in recent history

Great start!
What happens when the protection breaks down a little and Cousins is under pressure, or forced to move? That's the question that remains to be seen. But a fun victory, and loved seeing the Chargers get knocked down a peg.

I don’t care who we were playing…I enjoyed the game.
One thing I wonder as many have stated….i know Kubiak is aware of Kirk’s limitations…even tho a top schemer…can he scheme around an arm like that? Seems nearly impossible as teams start loading up more and more.
It has to be the reads, because there is not a throw or decision there that Mendoza
Could not have made. Definitely feel like he could have hit
On some of the deep
Ones.seems painful watching Kirk try to go deep haha

Dr, did you make the game? I heard it was the loudest Raider crowd yet in Vegas.
