This team needs a new coach because AP isn't it.
If a potentially rising OC coach comes along the Raiders should jump on it.
We have to stop changing HC's every year. One more time, tho?
How about: find a shit hot OC, let him work in 2025, them promote him to HC for 2026.
the fanbase of one
Maybe we could give AOC a chance to play behind a REAL, PROFESSIONAL offensive line for a series or two before we make judgments.
PS with a real OC as well.
Madden was an O lineman, you sure he was a DC?
I believe he was a defensive coordinator in the NCAA and linebackers coach with the Raiders prior to Al promoting him to head coach.

Continue the build.

Apparently Patrick Graham turned down an extension and his contract is up after this season so if AP is brought back we are likely to be even worse as no worthwhile coordinator on offense or defense will want to be a lame duck under AP.

He only needs to play decent enough so we can get and even develop "the right guy."

Let Tom bring in his crew and Mark can focus on women in their 20's who will provide offspring.

Sorry but I'd kindly laugh and tell you get f[raiders_icon]cked if I was that potential oc. If you want that oc as your hc, don't dick around and just hire him as the hc

How about: find a shit hot OC, let him work in 2025, them promote him to HC for 2026.
Finding a young hot OC will most likely not work in your scenario for AP staying as head coach. Something that’s more likely is if a guy like Daboll is fired as head coach in New York, he’s a really good OC, he might need to take an OC position for one year under a guy like AP, knowing AP could easily get fired after 2025 and then Daboll would move into the head coaching spot in 2026…. For a young OC there’s too much risk of him wasting a year with the Raiders, where the Raiders fire AP after 2025 and the rest of the staff is also replaced. .. it wouldn’t be wise for the young Hot coordinator to risk that…. there’s likely to be slim Pickens as far as good head coach prospects available in this coaching cycle.. we might be stuck with stealing Kliff Kingsbury from the commanders and make him the head coach.. i’m on the fence about this one, because he failed as a head coach previously, but he is obviously doing good things with their rookie quarterback this year as OC.. could you imagine if commanders and Jayden Daniels had Getsy as OC this year?

Don't waste another year on Pierce.
i wish i wasn't lazy and would go back and find a thread about our coach or Harbaugh...many said he would fail, but a few of us said he would do well.I said he'd have them in playoffs the first year. They are scary for a while. They get a stud RB next year..look out.
I thought it would take a full season for him to get that team together; that we'd beat them the first time, but by the end of the season they'd be a tough team to beat.
