He’s not my guy. Never has been really.
But Mark chose him and he’s here to stay. In addition, it would be completely disingenuous to act like he’s not gonna put together some good games this year and some GWDs as he has done before.
As much as he is not my guy. As much as aI have asked to look elsewhere for a QB over the years, the first game under McDaniels, NFL weak preseason rules, no preseason games, no real RT isn’t the time to grandstand about him.
I have a standing objection to him being the guy. It’s noted and that’s that. But today didn’t do anything to amplify the objection.
It was 4th and 8 inside of 2 minutes and we were 5 points behind. A TD would have put us ahead by 1 point at the minimum. That's WTF I'm talking about or did you not have your glasses on when attempting to read the last part of the first sentence of my post. Here it is spelled out again for you so not to miss it this time..
"Actually as bad as it seemed, we did have a chance to go ahead in the last two minutes."
Imagine if we had a QB that did not play like trash, how close would it have been then?

I dont watch raider games since 2018 because of Carr
He took the enjoyment out of watching the Raiders play.
Last games I enjoyed were under Palmer. The Thursday night game vs Chargers where he fed ball to Denarius Moore comes to mind. He would make some amazing throws. Terrel Pryor had a couple fun games running the ball too lol. Bruce Gradkowski had some good ones too. The Steeler game in Pittsburg comes to mind.
I just check scores on phone now.
I dont get why people are surprised to see Carrbage be garbage.
He has been this way since he entered the league.
I never saw a good QB.
Dude is teflon though.
He has outlasted Oakland, coaches, OCs, running backs, olineman, and RBs.
Saw a note that he is the 2nd longest serving QB for a single team behind only Aaron Rodgers.
You would think he would have won atleast one playoff game.
Anyway I wasnt surprised to see Carr’s “new arsenal” fail to make him a super star QB
Imagine if we had a QB that did not play like trash, how close would it have been then?
This game was on Carr - no doubt. Against really good teams your margin for error is small. The fact that it was even as close as it was is a testament to how bad of a coach Staley is.
Carr left probably 11 points on the board between 2 plays alone - the miss to Waller in the end zone and the underthrown int to Adams which would’ve been a TD if it was on target. We punted twice and had 3 drives end in turnovers. For the most part we were moving the ball on them. Our drives ended more often with picks than with punts. So definitely this was all on Carr.
The o-line could’ve been better and we should’ve run the ball more but end of the day - protect the football is kind of the main expectation for every QB.

#ParkTheCarr since 2015
So you don't watch the games. You just comment with your "Carrbage" bullshit after looking at the stat lines.
Got it.

The missed TD to Waller was pretty much unforgivable

on to week 2.....
carr played terrible.
Reality is that it was only week 1 and we arent going 6-0 against the afc west......
While carr looked like sh*t we still nearly pulled off that win. I am not worried. The chargers are a a superbowl level team. We will see them again later in the year and I am sure the raiders offense will be clicking by then...
While i love adams and what he does on the field as a player Carr/Mcdaniels need NEED to get other involved and btw can we have a consistent run game. Jacobs had it going late in the game but it felt like carr was dropping back and throwing to often against a team that was getting pressure on him all game long......didnt make sense
Still think the raiders will be in the playoffs
