In fairness to Maxx, he hasn’t really said anything. This is pretty much exclusively “leaks”, media noise, and the attempt to interpret everything he says or doesn’t say as some sort of clue.

I have no idea what happens. I’ll say I’m not particularly interested in a late 1st(s). If we’re gonna trade him I’d almost give the team this year off and go for a 27 and 28 1st… try to pick the team most likely to regress.

Ironically Chicago is the bet I’d take. They’ve got a ton of leading indicators for a regression. I’d let them keep their first this year - give me 27 and 28 and I’m willing to bet they fall off big in at least one of those seasons. As much as this feels like Groundhog Day

Definitely not once, but if you follow the team as closely as this forum, you know it’s out there. I guess i just dont like football players that exhibit such girlish drama. To each their own.
