How many points do you think the offense should average this year now that everything is in place?
Last year San Diego was 5 with 27.9 ppg. I’d say 28 ppg should be our avg. we should be a top 5 scoring offense
2020 has been Carrs best. 27.2. He has 4 years of a below 20 ppg.
to his credit, that finger injury kept him out for one series, he taped it up and came out slinging it. Crowd went f[raiders_icon]cking nuts.
At the same time, he also ran away from the loose ball and let it be turned over. That bothered me.

I just hope to see a brand new Carr this upcoming season. One that does not stall in the red zone and one that keeps going when the road gets rough and when it matters most, finds another gear.
I have stayed out of the discussion in regards to his past because what he does this upcoming year is what matters most to me. Unlike many I do think players and specifically QBs can have their best years in their early 30s. That it takes more time for some than others to find their way and am hoping that Carr is able to take his game to another level this upcoming season. I am hoping with age, comes maturity and accountability and with that...comes improvement and a dedication to become a better football player.
Yes, it is that boring part of the offseason where I tend to drink the Kool-Aid.

Saw this yesterday on NFL network, I like what Carr had to say, but actions speak louder than words!
He may once every game or so brush against “elite” between the 20’s. Worse of all though is the softness. Unless you want to say he is “elite” at softness. Usually not a football attribute. Good for toilet paper though.
Poor ability to go through progressions, functionally immobile, doesn't "do" tight windows, need/desire to operate out of the shotgun and subpar footwork reduces the threat of the run putting extra pressure on the passer, tight area reduces his advantage in pre-snap while making it easier for defenses to get away with disguising, already quick internal clock speeds up, lack of improvisational ability means that there is nothing extra when things break down.
How many starting NFL QB's cant take a hike under center? Thats is a huge handicap for the offense. Carr having the ability to take snaps under center would greatly improve our red zone options.

Twice Davante saw 169 targets thrown his way.
Anyone think Carr goes silly stupid happy with his buddy and chucks him 200+?
I'm leaning towards yes
Problem or no?

If Davante is as good as advertised then they'll be some real problems covering Waller and Renfrow especially if Carr can deliver it to him at a high rate. Not to mention whoever the 4th WR is thats probably forgotten about.
Fingers crossed

Problem or no?
Yep it will be like amaris first year when carr was forcing him the ball every pass play. Didnt matter if he was double covered and we had other recievers wide open.
