Historically I’ve never been a fan of tanking but since I see no upward momentum and this team is dogshit, I want to tank for Mendoza. Of course I’m fully expecting the Raiders will win a meaningless game against the Browns and possibly one more this season to screw the tank. It’s the Raiders way

The Raiders are going to throw the Sanders kid a party. You can count on it.Xramfan wrote: Fri Nov 21, 2025 4:18 pm Historically I’ve never been a fan of tanking but since I see no upward momentum and this team is dogshit, I want to tank for Mendoza. I sell the hot games Chiefs, Cowboys, Broncos, Bears and go to the not so hot games Jags, Titans, Browns. Just the way I have to do it to sell some games as I can't go to them allOcoordinator wrote: Thu Nov 20, 2025 7:55 am I literally can’t come close to getting rid of my tickets at even face value lately
I was just at the Cosmo a few weekends ago and they were feeding me free drinks while I was playing the slots. Won a Major and dipped out lol.

That's Rich coming from yourich72 wrote: Thu Nov 20, 2025 4:23 pm You have to be rich to go to a Raiders game nowadays. They should change it from the black hole to the caviar hole.
People bought season tickets and with the sell of some those tickets the first few years they paid back their PSL and now have tickets to a few games a year while selling the rest to cover next years costs. Those who refused to buy season tickets due to "stay in Oakland" well I don't know what to say.
Flights are somewhat cheap to Vegas (rewards also) and hotels can be cheap at certain times of the year. I plan the year out by checking hotel prices ahead and only go to certain games.
I have season tickets and plan ahead to save some coin. I end up spending a couple grand a year to go for weekend trips to Vegas 4 times a year (4 games).
Def not as cheap as parking or getting dropped off at the Coliseum and opening a 12 pack.

Thinking exactly the same as you except I like Simpson. His escape ability is what puts him ahead of Mendoza for me.Xramfan wrote: Fri Nov 21, 2025 4:18 pm Historically I’ve never been a fan of tanking but since I see no upward momentum and this team is dogshit, I want to tank for Mendoza. At the moment the raiders have quite a lot of draft picks for 2026…and say we they end up at the number 6 spot in the draft….then they might be able to send quite few picks to the team that got the number 1 pick for their pick….

Thats why its important that if any team is gonna get the number 1 pick (other than us), it needs to be the Titans. Best shot at trading up with them.SuperRaider wrote: Fri Nov 21, 2025 11:45 pm At the moment the raiders have quite a lot of draft picks for 2026…and say we they end up at the number 6 spot in the draft….then they might be able to send quite few picks to the team that got the number 1 pick for their pick….

All we can hope for is that the Jets “Jets”, more than the Raiders “Raider”, and pick a QB no one would have picked 1st anyway.rcraider wrote: Sat Nov 22, 2025 12:02 am Unfortunately the Jets are loaded to the gills with picks, they can out bid any team if they really want the first pick in the draft if QB is the direction they are going.

Literally the exact opposite of what I do. Buy high - sell low.STHfrontrow wrote: Fri Nov 21, 2025 8:19 pm I sell the hot games Chiefs, Cowboys, Broncos, Bears and go to the not so hot games Jags, Titans, Browns. Just the way I have to do it to sell some games as I can't go to them all![]()

Geno won't do shit against the Browns defense.
