Cowherd though we all know he’s a shock jock. Says Carr will be going to canton at some point. That should stir quite a debate

Well, either that or he expects Derek to be in the crowd cheering when Renfrow makes it in. Technically, that might count?

Carr will have enough career highlights so that 20 years from now, some kid seeing those highlights will wonder why Carr isn't in the HOF.
It'll be a classic case of you had to be there.

right now I would put Carr in the Jim Everett range. Good QB who can get the yards but he is not HOF material....right now. The league has changed so much since the 80s so yards are going up huge. The once dominant run games are few and far between. Mattie Ice has 60K or thereabouts but I would not even think of him as a HOF candidate. Even entertaining the idea of Carr as a HOF QB is not something I had thought about.
But no, we do not at this time have a HOF player on the team, we have some guys who might get there but not one right now that I could pick as one who will get in.

As of now Carr is a 1st ballot hall of shamer, if he continues to play at the same level....

Won the MVP the same year everyone loves to talk about Carr being 3rd in voting, and actually played in a SB (albeit, part of the most embarrassing choke in SB history).
And I agree with you, Ryan is not a HoFer. But if he’s not, Carr is definitely not IMO
