And yet you are here. The Moose Lodge must have invested in a Gateway personal computer with a prepaid AOL subscription.pfish57 wrote: Fri Feb 13, 2026 12:53 pm The fact that people stay on a forum all day long, and argue about Crosby is what I find mind boggling...get a life people!!!
Strike a nerve? Actually toast I just got home from playing 18, and I didn't think about the Raiders once during the round;)Toast wrote: Fri Feb 13, 2026 12:57 pm And yet you are here. The Moose Lodge must have invested in a Gateway personal computer with a prepaid AOL subscription.

That’s fair, maybe they did sit him down and talk to him.Attyla wrote: Fri Feb 13, 2026 1:25 pm How do you know they did not sit him down and have a conversation?
No doubt they did. I think there are some that do not understand professionalism and closed door meetings. Not everyone conducts their business over social media, unless your name is Antonio Brown, of course he also has experience in closed door meetings of a different type and they typically include law enforcement or a couch.Attyla wrote: Fri Feb 13, 2026 1:25 pm How do you know they did not sit him down and have a conversation?
If he disagreed with tanking? Honestly, I don't think they even tanked. I think Carroll for one knew that every loss was going to seal his fate and he refused to coach himself out of a job. I just think we were that bad. We did find out that the knee injury was bad enough to shut him down. I think the doctors shut him down and that was that. I have no proof other than my knowledge of how patient care is handled and my somewhat good knowledge of the CBA and player safety as it relates to the CBARaiderman4 wrote: Fri Feb 13, 2026 1:38 pm That’s fair, maybe they did sit him down and talk to him.
But if that conversation actually happened and they explained the bigger picture, then why would he still be this upset with the organization? That’s what doesn’t make sense to me.
It’s honestly mind-blowing that he’d value a couple meaningless games at the end of a dead season over the next 2–4 years of the franchise actually having a real QB and a future.
Something just isn’t adding up to me.
Not a member of the moose or Elks lodge but they have to be the cheapest bars in town along with better than decent food.Toast wrote: Fri Feb 13, 2026 12:57 pm And yet you are here. The Moose Lodge must have invested in a Gateway personal computer with a prepaid AOL subscription.
The team definitely was not tanking, they were just that bad.Attyla wrote: Fri Feb 13, 2026 1:42 pm If he disagreed with tanking? Honestly, I don't think they even tanked. Guys tend not to air dirty laundry or reveal the locker room. But again, how do you know he did not privately? As for the injury, we know now it was a lot more extensive than we were lead to believe. While it would not have kept him from playing had we been in the hunt, I believe the team shut him down because it was bad enough to require significant surgery.Raiderman4 wrote: Fri Feb 13, 2026 1:53 pm The team definitely was not tanking, they were just that bad.
But if Maxx saw how dysfunctional and shitty things were, why didn’t he speak up in the middle of the season? Why wait until the end when the season was already dead?
From the outside looking in, it just seems like he got frustrated with the organization because they wouldn’t let him do what he loves to do — play football.
I don’t think the injury had much to do with anything, for if we were actually competitive this year, there’s no way he’s getting benched those last few games, injury or not.
I think we should just be honest with him. "Maxx we shut you down so we would have the best opportunity to take a swing at a young QB" That's literally it.Attyla wrote: Fri Feb 13, 2026 2:41 pm Guys tend not to air dirty laundry or reveal the locker room. What’s even more mind boggling are the people who burn precious moments of their fulfilling lives to come here and tell others how to live.pfish57 wrote: Fri Feb 13, 2026 12:53 pm The fact that people stay on a forum all day long, and argue about Crosby is what I find mind boggling...get a life people!!!
