No clue where to post some stuff not necessarily team related but could be? Feel free to delete if this belongs somewhere else.

Maxx and Parsons would be nasty. I probably wouldn’t pay the price though.

It's still Mendoza but they are going to over pay for him. In another draft he would almost never be the first QB off the board.

Crybaby is the first word that comes to mind.

I think it was the Bard who claimed: "Be hard on your opinions. It is true when they say opinions are like assholes and everyone has one. There is great wisdom in this, but I would add that opinions differ significantly from assholes in that yours should be constantly and thoroughly examined. We must think critically and not just about the ideas of others. Be hard on your beliefs. Take them out onto the veranda and hit them with a cricket bat. Be intellectually rigorous. Identify your biases, your prejudices and your privileges. Most arguments are kept alive by a failure to acknowledge nuance. We tend ot generate false dichotomies and then try to argue one point using two entirely different sets of assumptions, like two ping pong players trying to win a match by hitting beautifully executed shots from either end of separate ping pong tables."

Well maybe not the Bard, I don't recall "asshole" being in Romeo and Juliet.

Props to the Jets. That's how you rebuild.

True. Burn it down and collect assets.

When has that worked? None of the top teams in the league built their team in this way.

That said, the jets did get good value so I dont blame them in this case. But a fire sale without getting value isnt worth it.

It's actually a 2027 first rounder, no first rounder in 2026 for Quinnen. I thnk Jerrah realizes his 2026 maybe a Top 15 pick.

It’s probably not going to work because they will have all these rookies starting their careers on a tire fire of a team under a head coach that’s in over his head. Throw in the Woody factor and you can make a very good case that Jets fans have it worse than we do.

Wish we could have traded for Quinnen Williams. Jerry continues to make genius moves. They have two monster DT's in Kenny Clark and Q-Will.

This goes back to the off-season when I wanted us to sign DJ-Reader in FA.

There is never going to be a full proof blueprint to follow. But the fastest way to rebuild is through the draft and why not get multiple shots in the first 2-3 rounds. This is a 1-7 team with top players at DT and CB. They're still pissing all over the field. We all know what the missing ingredient is and that is getting a top 5 QB1. Drake Maye and Bo Nix is proving 1 thing, that you need a QB in this league to win.

it has worked on occasion. The Aikman lead Boys were one. The Colts pulled it off trading Faulk and that gave them Edgerin James and at the same time the Greatest Show on Turf never happens without Faulk so both sides pulled it off.

DT is the toughest position after QB to fill. Dallas now has 2.
