The guy's not even in high demand as an OC let alone HC. Andy Reid can make an average QB look like a starter and clearly that trickles down to his coordinators.
Didn’t he just get fired again?

Aaron Glenn is an interesting discussion as a potential head coach. What the Lions' D has done with an insane number of injuries this year is just amazing. But they also had three seasons of poor defense under Glenn before that - if the offense hadn't been carrying the load then the whole staff might have been gone before this year.

I definitely think if youre going with a d minded coach you go with Vrabel. Hes proven he is a solid head coach

The problem with AP isnt only that our Offense is garbage tier, the problem is our Defense isnt great either and hes supposed to be a Defense minded coach. If our Defense was playing lights out but our Offense sucked, that would be acceptable and something to work on. When both sides of the ball are underperforming then we have a real problem with our coaching staff. I was one of the biggest AP fans also before the season started and now im saying eat the contract and ship him out.

I think our D will be fine if we get everyone back. If the Offense can put more points on the board and get that TOP up, I think the D will be what we thought they would. It has to be demoralizing for the D to have such a suck ass offense.

i'd give pat graham the job as long as he calls the defensive plays.
we need some stability not a burn it to the ground and start all over again reboot, again.

That being said, unless the owner walks aways I wonder what good that would accomplish anyways.
It's not a great place to be. Teams can toil under poor owners for decades. Case in point the Redskins under Dan Snyder. There is a completely new vibe about that organization now that Dan the fan is gone.

Does Getsy's scheme suck, or is the scheme he installed OK and he was just a shitty play caller in the context of it?Could we keep the same scheme/verbiage and find someone better at running it with some minor tweeks, or do we need to start from scratch again?

Grahams defense has been bad 2 out of 3 years and he was bypassed for HC consideration by Pierce.

Go get a young, promising HC. Give him at least 3 years. He probably won't succeed in the first 1-2 years. Give him time. "Be Pittsburgh"..... let it develope. The constant hiring/firing has to stop. There will never be a successful, winning team until there is continuity with head coach and staff.

Bill Belichick and Andy Reid failed at first right? Bill finally got Brady and boom
Andy Reid was a failure at KC with Alex Smith but then became the best coach ever with Mahomes.
Whatever, who knows?

It's gotta be an offensive minded HC who's a good play caller. That way, our OC doesn't have to be all that brilliant. He'd be more like an assistant to the HC (see Reid and Bienemy).
Robert Saleh is going to be on the market for a DC job, so he'd be a great pickup (as our DC, not HC).
