Derek plays golf and just hit a hole in one the other day.
Is it really that exciting when done with kids on a mini course at GameLand?
Very possible statistically. I wonder if it will equate to playoff wins
Exactly. I could care less what Carr stats are. Wins are what matters and even more important are wins in the playoffs.
It definitely causes a huge roll of the eyes, when someone posts yardage stats when the team is losing. I could care two f[raiders_icon]cks about yardage. Does the offense put up more POINTS than the opponents...the rest is fodder for bored and disappointed fans.
Raiders need to start winning....and as you point out...winning in the playoffs. It has been 20 years since the Raiders have managed to win a playoff game. For those interested ONLY two other franchises have a worst streak in futility.
The only measure of success that matters is wins. Yardage stats are for losers.

Seems like a sign we're going to win the Super Bowl with him as MVP if I'm reading it right.
I've been wrong before though, so no guarantees.
But its thought to be the luckiest omen possible.
Alright!!
Win/loss record isn't an individual stat. At the end of last season we had a stretch of 3 games in which we won all 3, but I would say we won despite of Carr.
Agree. But I am simply stating that I am tired of following a team where one has to look at some particular player's stat to gain solace. I simply am no longer interested. It is for losers.
Raiders need to win. I don't really care how. BUT given the fact that if Carr remains with the team, his cap hit will eventually hit 40 million and more - so, if this formula does not work this upcoming season, I think it becomes less and less likely it will ever work.
Team needs to start winning and winning now....not just at the beginning of the season; but consistently throughout the entire season AND into the playoffs. It is been too ugly for too long. Just saying...

Sometimes it's the defense or running game.

Just saying...
Agree with your points, just wanted to make sure we were on the same page and it seems we are. Not saying other players do not deal with stuff, but it really does suck in every "no excuse year" for Carr some crazy shit happens. The best he had it in terms of talent + coaching was 2015/2016, both his best years.
I believe McDaniels is the best coach Carr as had, and on paper this is the best supporting talent. Obviously gotta see how the year shakes out but he should be right around his career high in TDs and a winning football team. How many wins is yet to be seen, our division is really good and we still have questions about some areas of the team.
But I will say if we have a relatively healthy year and the above stuff isn't true, it probably will never be with him.

Good Morning Football had a segment where, I believe it was Peter Schrager discussed who would have the better year, Raiders Carr/Adams or Bills Allen/Diggs. I agreed with Schrager when he said statistically, Carr/Adams; when it matters, Allen/Diggs.

I could get behind that IF we got some consistency.
Carr fanatics: “wins and loses are a team thing.”
Also Carr fanatics: “Derek has the most amount of comeback wins!”
So which is it?
I’ve asked plenty of times but no answer other than seemingly it’s both.

And I cannot get behind McDaniels being the best coach we have had in a while. He was not good in Denver, he has been a good coordinator but his HC job was not one to be remembered.
Maybe he has learned, hopefully he has. But he lost the locker room in Denver and that is always a concern with a retread
