I don’t know what this means, other than you might be posting stoned, but it’s a lot better than the “I’m a better fan than you” posts that preceded it.

Can we stop the pissing matches over who’s a more beleaguered fan and discuss Carr please?
I like to weave cliches together to help people out. I'm a helper.

Anyway, oh, this is ABC thread.
I was praying he would be traded.
Beyond all the other weaknesses commonly cited, beyond a predictable repertoire that can be gamed, he just seems limited in ways he's comfortable lining up not good/frequency of RPO calls, that and how hard and long he locks on his target, stares at him, and you just need to identify and shut down his target. Then he struggles. But that's been mentioned often enough: not seeing enough of the field during the play.

He has problems with fumbles and probably always will.

I have seen improve in some of his weaker areas in the last few.
When Ruggs was here I think he was leading in yards per attempt.
I have zero excuses for him anymore. I hope Davante can change things, or elevate him to play better. Hope has left the building, but never completely.

Looking forward to going after his possible successors.

I don't consider anyone who criticizes a player on the Raiders, who likes the Raiders a hater.

For example Parker does stupid false starts that make you cringe, but if he does a pancake block for a big play everyone is happy in Raider land.

I don't consider myself the greatest fan, that's just stupid. We all want the Raiders to win, but there is such a thing as a Derek Carr fan.

I personally know a guy who is a LeBron Fan, I like the Lakers but this guy just likes LeBron. When he was a cavalier, he was a cavalier fan, when he was with Miami, he was a Miami fan, now this guy is a laker fan.

It's cool to like Fresno state and the Raiders, and then a Fresno state player becoming a Raider. But these fans get all butt hurt when people criticize Carr like he is their kid or mom, which is pathetic imo.

They say you ain't a real fan, but are quick to criticize everyone else in the Raiders organization. Hypocrisy at it's finest.

Dust in the wind
All we are is dust in the wind

Deeer neer neer neer neer

Only fools rush in
Only time will tell
If we stand the test of time

There were plants and birds and rocks and things.

Pour some sugar on me!

Is it safe to dance?

I told you all he would do this. And all you skeptics were there telling me he wouldn't. There is something you will never understand: Derek Carr loves Raiders much more than you do, and he puts his money where his mouth is (the Team).

His pay will be top 5 if they do not.

and no, he works for the Raiders, he may be a fan but he does not love the team more than some of the fans who endured decades of mediocrity

WR's and QB's salaries go up quickly, and noone knows were the middle of the market will be in two years. 22, 35, 45 mil in consecutive years may turn out to be that middle.
As much bad stuff I talk about Carr, I hope he does well this season. The better he does, the better our team will do. I still want to trade him but on gameday I hope he proves all of us doubters wrong and that wouldnt upset me one bit.
Correct, hope for wins but be realistic.

The Raiders have assembled a lot of pieces this year and we’ve got a tight window. This year is the best shot as next year options start to narrow.

It’s now all on Carr to rise to the occasion. Can he? History says no, that not being a hater that’s simply facts.

For my own part I’ve seen this story play out too many times since 1986. I’m not getting any hopes up. So until I see us hoisting a Lombardi? Watch on game days, hope for wins but not expect them, avoid game day thread (makes watching the game more enjoyable) and drink Scotch. I also hope my senior citizen beagle is parked next to me on Sundays too but with him having cancer I doubt it
