The Raiders scored 26 points or more 5 of the first 7 games with 4 of those games over 30.
Then it all went down including Waller.
Say what 19pts?
Oh thats what you mean by context.
But hey pff ya know

Couldn't possibly be our sub 70 playoff rating QB could it? I am sure you have an excuse for every year.
Quoting myself and
it's a question for the player who touches the ball more than anyone.
A pro QB with a 21 high school players has a better chance to win a NFL game then a
High school QB with 21 pro players.
More true than false
Or
More false than true
My attempt is to weigh if a QB is more or less valuable than the contributions of the other 21 players.
Your attempt is a borderline (if not actual) logical fallacy know as an Argument to Absurdity aka Reductio ad absurdum.

But hey pff ya know
Waller scored one TD prior to the injury. He had one outstanding game before the injury. Waller was not the issue. In those 7 games, the Raiders did not play against a top 10 defense, three of them were bottom 5. One was depleted due to covid. There is your context. That is the reality. The offense faltered as the season went on.....again. this is not some make believe fantasy, this is an ongoing trend. Ironically this also happened as the line improved. Carr is supposed to be the leader on the field and in the locker room. Do you ever wonder why Agholor said the team sucked, that they quit and were selfish. Do you ever wonder why he said there was no accountability in the locker room? I sure as hell did. It was not about sour grapes, he knew he played well enough on his "prove it deal" to get paid. He was speaking the truth. There were problems on the team, and those problems go back to at least 2017.
So convince yourself that Carr is not the problem, good for you. But Occam's Razor suggests that the simplest solution to a complex problem is usually correct and since there is only 1 player left from 2017 you might want to, at the very least, question your convictions.

The player who played almost every single game since 2014, who touches the ball the most and is the most important player on the team, is not, I repeat, not responsible for anything negative that has occurred since 2014.

The simple is that Carr needs to fumble less, score more for him to be considered good
At least10 more TD’s, less yardage, less INT’s, 5 or so less fumbles all this given i think we’ll run more & then we’re talking about i guy we can all get on board with
So i’m expecting these sort of numbers 33 TD’s, 4300 yards, 10 INT’s & 8 fumbles minimum
2016 in the same system he went for just under 4000 yards, 28 TD’s, 6 INT’s & 5 fumbles so i think his number should slightly increase based off that as he’ll be in the same type of system as then
Is that much to ask for i don’t think it is

Let's hope the HC can put this offense together in a modern way.
Like a screen would be nice more than 2 times a year.
I would like to point out that a fumble is at times worst than an INT. Sometimes an INT takes place and the ball is turned over 20 or 30 yards down the field. Hell, sometimes an INT acts much like a punt when the QB is throwing far down the field and the player is unable to return it.
QB fumbles almost always happen behind the line of scrimmage. You do not only hand the ball over but you hand it over giving the opponents better field position than if you were being aggressive throwing an INT.
To me, a fumble is a worse stat than an INT. BOTH are really bad and often game changing events, but damn fumbles are back breakers.
Exactly. Even recovered Fumbles almost always are drive stoppers. Generally a 5-10 yard loss. Recovery a fumble is complete random circumstance. There’s no skill of it, it just random occurrence who can fall on it. We add in Carr’s inability to score in the RZ, let alone give up on plays, INTs. He’s an average QB. If Carr was the QB another 85% of teams he would of been replaced already.
We’re looking at a Rob Johnson, Steve Buerliein, Jake Plummer, Dante Culpepper Type QB. They have obvious talent and can put numbers but all had flaws which didn’t equal to winning
I’ve felt that we should of traded Carr last year when his value was the highest and team apparently offering multiple 1sts for him

While many here are very excited about Carr and the new regime and what that possibly might mean, there is another possibility. Outside of a few who think Carr is actually elite already, most think he is somewhere between the 14th and 11th best QB in the league.
But while many are anticipating Carr will take a huge step forward given the elite group of weapons around him, and find himself rising on that list, there is another possibility. There are several young QBs in the league that have not yet really made their mark in the NFL. Among them are QBs like Lawrence, Lance, Zack Wilson, Murray and others. While it is a possibility that Carr will rise on the list of good QBs in the league; it is also quite possible that he falls on that list while others improve and surpass him.
If there is not improvement in Carr this upcoming season, even with the new scheme and weapons, then most probably he will find that there will be a couple, if not a few young QBs passing him on that list.
I am still holding hope that somehow and in some way the Raiders are able to push Carr's extension off till next offseason, so that the new regime at least gets a firsthand look at what Carr will look like in the new scheme before paying him huge money and making a long term commitment to him.
