I get it you hate Carr, but don't let that hate blind you of reality
Loosely translated as 'you are correct but I am so emotionally invested into Derek that I can't accept reality'.
Show me Carr stepping up - you can't so like all illogical arguments you pack your bags and go home.
Well.... bye.
Just saying, I waited 8 years to give Carr the benefit of the doubt of 'maybe playoffs will be enough to see him play well - maybe those 4th quarter heroics translate into winning big games - maybe all this patience pays off with an Eli level playoff QB'.
It turns out that he plays like crap in the playoffs. A sub 70 passer rating is Josh Rosen level numbers.
It happened, the moment came and he choked. Deal with it. I wish it did not happen, but the results are what they are.
Noone gets to whitewash that reality.
Now that’s a good post. Made your point with evidence to back it up. I’m not arguing against how he played in his lone playoff game. Those are valid criticisms
Since 2002:
12 season before Carr 53-123. Zero playoff appearances.
This team was a disaster before he got here. 18-16 since the move to Vegas and trending in the right direction.
Very true. Don't give up yet Jeremy. This is the year!!!!!

Is there a difference between "important" and "big" games? "Big" games seem to be either a playoff game or a win-and-you're-in type of game at the end of a season.
"Important" games seem to be games that are division tie breakers. That is, if you win the game, you take the lead in your division (or at least become tied for first). These games usually occur after the halfway point in the season. Also, it is apparent at the time the game is played that it's important.
The rest are just games and only in retrospect can they be called important, e.g. our losses to NYG, Washington, and Chicago.
Whatever. The new regime is paying Carr big money and spending big on offense. We've seen this before and we know how it turned out. Let's hope it's different this time around.

that's on you because nobody even came close to that
but if we met at a game, you would be most welcome to share a beer with me.
We all may disagree with things on the site, but we are all fans of the same team. If we allow our opinions here denigrate to violence in reality we have lost sight of what is really important. I for one refuse to go down that rabbit hole

Even those I disagree with? The Raiders are what (should) bind us all. Players? Different story (and opinions).

Carr finally has a top reciever. The last of this kind was when we had Amari Cooper. This is when Carr was an MVP candidate. He then got injured. Cooper was traded. He hasn't had a number one reciever since. Ruggs, was supposed to be that, and Carr looked great until Ruggs f[raiders_icon]cked up. During his career Carr has put up great numbers without a number one reciever. Imagine what he will do now with Adams.
Antonio Brown was supposed to be that. We all know how that turned out. I expect Carr to be a ln MVP candidate once again, now that we have Adams. I am looking forward to Carr having his best season ever.. Finally he has what other great quarterbacks have always had, a great number one reciever. Get your popcorn ready..
