Call your shot....or add your own.

Dante Moore:

Fernando Mendoza:

May the football godz look kindly down upon the feeble and inept.

Well, I think the only thing that could potentially stop this now is if Doza discerns the Priesthood. I'd be good with that too.

Finally, an offseason to look forward to!

Mendoza (compares to Goff/Matt Ryan)

Or

Moore (compares to CJ Stroud) + 1, 2, or 3 extra first round picks.

The intriguing thing about Moore, is he is only 20, and has potentially more room to grow.

The way I see it, we aren’t going to win the SB next year, so I’m not worried about letting Moore grow for a year.

Now if Mendoza is considered to be the next Brady, then I wouldn’t trade for 5 extra firsts…..
Mendoza. People are underestimating his leadership and personality for a crap franchise like ours. He is exactly what we need to turn this around.

1/3 of those things is all that matters in any player. The last revivalist would-be preacher we had got us a sub .500 record and 0-2 in the playoffs over the course of 9 long years.

Good video about motivations. Coming from a wing T offense. Mom dealing with MS. Lots of good stuff.

I know people are going to try and make it more interesting, but Mendoza is the easy call and all the smoke between now and then won't change a thing.

Yes, this speaks to his character and why he is so motivated. Compare it to our last #1 pick who I am not sure spoke English and loved the purple drank.

I don't care if the guy is an orphan and has Slayer playing in the background while worshipping Cthulu.

Win games.

He still has games to play and the only thing that would change what I think about Mendoza would be a critical injury. But a bad game after this season would just be a bad game and they all have those. Even Montana had bad games.

I think Mendoza is easily the best pick.

It would be even more awesome if he did blast Slayer.

Dismissing a person's character is what got us Russell. To win games you need to be a leader, have personal responsibility and integrity. Combine that with immense football skill and you have yourself something.

Character matters for sure. Gotta have talent. But character is one of the traits of leadership

Especially from your QB and being the leader trying to turn around a terrible franchise.
