Statement #1: "Since some of y'all are sensitive"
Statement #2: "I only want to people who encourage me, speak life into me & uplift me to have a voice in my life"
OK
More people should do that. So many people feed into negative shit on social media

Honestly Killer30, if you like the dude, why would you repost this? LOL
If he quit playing like a fkn pussy, he'd shut all our mouths. Quit crying Derek. Play in December and January like you play in September and October, and watch how you magically gain support.

I totally understand blocking random people. There are some super weird, obsessive, and just plain freaky bastards out there who will say horrible things to people on Twitter. No one has to put up with that shit regardless of their fame or lack thereof.
OTOH, blocking legitimate sports media folks is some thin-skinned crap. Get some perspective, man. Which one of us wouldn't take some Twitter criticism for $20+ million per year (and a whole lot more to come)? And when he quits the game, no one's going to talk about Carr on Twitter or any other kind of social media; at least not as it relates to football. He'll still have all that money he earned from playing a game and only a tiny percentage of humanity is going to give 1/10th of a f[raiders_icon]ck what he's up to.
You wanna block obnoxious assholes who only exist to insult you? That's cool. But don't start blocking media sources. That's chickenshit.

If he blocked click bait media ass holes im good with that.
The media is not what it once was and to be honest some of them need to be told to go f[raiders_icon]ck themselves;
but in a born again Christian way mind you. Lol
Im sure reporters with integrity like John Clayton or Rich Eison are not on his block list.
I dont see a problem with taking a stand against the Josh Dubow's of the world.

The only bad look on Derek’s side is publicizing what he did cause doods on the internet feast on shit like that. He only criticism he should take notice of is from his coaches and how to better run their offense. Everything else is outside noise

I know it’s the basic you can’t call someone sensitive while being sensitive. Every athlete is “sensitive” to people that talk noise they don’t agree with: see Tom Brady/Aaron Rodgers/etc. since he’s not a sociopath it’s pretty clear that negative chatter has no benefit to his psyche and chooses to block said people. It was a bad look for him to say it but he’s hardly the only person to do it .

Aaron Rogers turns it into MVP’s.
Carr turns it into… embarrassment for Raider fans.

There was nothing really offensive in it. IE the person wasn't using F bombs or cursing at Carr. Just saying what a bad QB he was etc...
Well it had to be on the plane ride home. Either Carr, or one of his brothers must have been reading tweets. But I found myself blocked by Carr. I never once with my account had I posted anything on Carr's personal timeline. On my page yes. But Carr blocked me. I just laughed...

He needs a social media manager (someone he isn't related to). He isn't the only pro athlete or other celebrity to lack self-awareness. Otherwise, he'll keep producing cringe-worthy content for his critics to feast on. Or as suggested, just stay off social media.

Hell, you could hire a college literature dork, give him or her some parameters and let them handle it for you for $50 a week.
