Is Carr's play-fake or play-action going to get better? Is he going to suddenly have pocket presence? Is he working on identifying running lanes when his receivers are covered? Is the 9th season the one in which his field vision improves? Is he going to make things happen when plays break down? Is he going to play well down the stretch?

These are the same legitimate questions we've been asking every offseason since the end of the 2017 season.

We'll see.
With Waller, Renfrow, and Adams - the chances of his pre-snap, first read target being open is higher.

So there's that.
Carr better not f[raiders_icon]ck this up. A LOT is riding on him to make this thing work.

This is not the direction I would have taken, but damn, I would love to be proven wrong, and see the Raiders rise to GREATNESS again.
I'm interested to see who the back up will be. Maby Foles will get cut and it will make Ivan happy....

Nobody seems to recognize that the Adams trade could help make NFL history. Daniel Carlson has a chance to become the first kicker to win MVP. :pirateflag:

Think of how Carr has come out the last two season firing. Think of a coach that can adjust gameplans from game to game, and even within a game. A coach that is a proven commodity offensively. Think of having a TRUE number 1 WR, that Carr has had success with.

:mindblown: Suddenly, this coming season is looking a HELL of a lot better!

It's a difficult argument to make that they haven't stacked this roster to be as good if not better than the Bengals this past season and they made it to the Super Bowl with a 2nd year Qb, So there aren't any excuses left.

Why are we trading pick to please a QB who has proven he disappears down the stretch when it really matters this teade wont help him all of a sudden turn up

We are not even close to co tending with the state of our OL & DL we cant afford to be giving away top picks for Carr’s buddies

Before I call it a night, Carr has to compete against Mahomes, Herbert and Wilson(not literally but they are in the division).

The Broncos have a good defense and the Chargers boosted theirs, Chiefs didn't start the season well but their defense played well late in the season.

Everything is unknown, McDaniels and this new coaching staff has my respect but is still an unknown.

Imo this season is all on Carr, he has to be the glue that makes everything come together.

Do I have confidence Carr will??? No, but no games will be played for like almost 6 months.

Year 9, the book on Carr continues, it can end in a tragedy, even though it's been a tragedy all along. Hoping for a happy ending, but I ain't betting on it, unless I'm drunk betting a rival fan lol...

The simple is that going forward the OL or D (especially the interior) can’t be used as an excuse since we’ve gave up picks & spent money that could have been used to fix them

Crazy idiotic to use those resources on a position that could have been drafted for a fraction of the cost

The same could be said about us even sniffing the playoffs after all the bullshit this team was dealt. Bottom line is the OL improved tremendously towards the end and one could argue it was the difference between us winning the last few games to get in. Carr finally has a legit WR1 for the first time in his career. Now’s your chance to jump on his nuts before everyone else does when he goes apeshit next year.
I still wanna know why does Carr have to be extended now? Make him play on the last year of his contract....

If he does well the worst thing that can happen is they tag him in 23. I really don't get the extension thing....
Hopefully it will be a team friendly deal where we can trade him with no cap hit.

The guys you name checked are no more knowledgable than anyone else & chat as much shit as every one else about this franchise

Fans like you are the problem get off your snooty high horse

Anyone that want to question anyones loyalty to the Raiders can f[raiders_icon]ck right off which is about all i can legit post because i’d get banned other wise

Simple facts of the matter is the Adams trade means we’re going for a SB run no matter the weaknesses of the the roster anything less & it is a failure i’d say, there are no excuses anymore no 1st year in the system, no bad OL, bad Defence , no talent etc

SB or bust

am I missing the part where the guy telling all you to humble yourselves keeps telling us that his rockstar friend and he are getting a suite next year?
