I mean, I was smarter than the coaching staff last year. While you and others were loving up on Geno.

So, not that outlandish is it? I'll check back with you week 5 to say i told you so. Again.

He states that he roots for the team, yet wishes injury on players just because he doesn't like them. Makes sense

Until you have the balls to respond to me directly, don't quote me to others.

an actual NFL staff and front office disagrees with your opinion being how they've constantly stated the exact opposite of what you think

Sorry, but quit patting yourself on the back. Anybody on any team football forum can say see I told you so because it's so easy to take that route. Anything shy of a Super Bowl championship and they can say we should of done this, that or the other. See! I told you so! Even if their team wins a SB unless they blow the other team out of the water they can say we got lucky or something of that matter. See! I told you so! In stark contrast it's more difficult to take the opposite approach.

Ask yourself, have I done the same? The answer to that is yes. We all have responded to other forum members here about a post of someone else's.

The funny thing is everyone knows that FM is our future and is possibly a better QB than Cousins even now, but that's not the point... there's a smart way and an uninformed way to do things and like you, I will yield to Kubiak and his crew to use their knowledge and experience to make the right choices as opposed to anyone here, especially someone who claims they are smarter.

What cracks me up is Bo could be correct. It might be best to stick him out there as a day 1 starter but i'm siding with KK and company on this one and for several reasons that coincide with the coaching staff.

-FM has very limited time under center
-KK's offense is a run heavy offense with handoffs to the RB's from under center
-KK's offense rely's HEAVILY on play action fakes from under center
-OL is still unsettled and still an unknown
-KC played in this EXACT offense! LOL!
-KC came here because he played in that exact offense. lol
-KC has played a ton of NFL football in varying situations and bad OL's (hopefully ours isn't)
-FM has not had an offseason, he prepared for the draft and is just now getting up to speed
-FM has stated he himself has a lot to learn. He is, you know, a rookie after all
-FM by sitting and watching/learning gives him more time during the season to acclimate

And the final one that goes unmentioned quite a bit. Having KC out there who has played in this exact offense and has thousands of snaps as an NFL quarterback allows everyone on offense to gel as a TEAM. It would not be fair to other players like Brock and company who want to win and want to have good stats to stick a rookie in there and everyone struggles while he gets his very wet feet underneath him. And the defense!!?!! Let's have a bunch of 3 and outs and leave them out on the field and shaking their heads while waiting for a rookie to hit his stride?

FM will be in there at some point this season. Hopefully he will just dominate and take over the reigns as a day 1 starter. But even if he is that close come our first match up against Miami in September, they will probably be inclined to give him more time to make sure the OL is there and the running game is dominate while FM gets even more comfortable. The single most important aspect of this team will be the OL and the running game. Everything else works off of that.

And if Kubiak deems Mendoza ready to start week one, by all means do it. I simply don't give a shit who starts at what position as long as it gives the team the best chance to win

Another thing that gets completely lost & thrown out the window is that Kubiak and people on here have stated how they want competition and players to earn their spots. Why would it be any different for Mendoza?

Same here, if Kubiak feels Mendoza has shown enough during camp and preseason and has "earned" the right to get the start on opening day, I'll be pulling as hard as I can for FM...but if it's Cousins, I'll pull for him just as much.

Hell, I pull for whoever is wearing the Silver and Black laundry.

I wrote a book once entitled how to get along with everyone! I didn't write it by myself, I wrote it with the help of some other asshole jerk off. -Steve Martin
