With the win in New York today. The 2026 Raiders have already passed the win total from last year. We all wanted improvement and now it’s official in the record books,

What is encouraging is if Kubiak can coach up a top ten offense with this group; how good will they be when he gets the personal he wants?
yep, imagine if this team had wr worth a damn ...our run gam e would be so much more explosive but im glad the team fights and scores points

Our offense (even with all the struggles running the football) keeps bailing out our horrible defense. We can't stop the run and make mediocre QB's seem like the second coming of Dan Marino. While I'm not saying that Rob Leonard is the answer at DC, we simply have one of the worst defensive rosters in the league. The cupboard is completely bare. We desperately need defensive linemen to kickstart a proper rebuild.

I said this last week. I'm wondering if jeanty isn't a scheme fit. We've seen it before. Some guys just don't fit and that's ok. Just like when aso went to the eagles. For us running man he was a shut down guy being talked about by the media as maybe the best cb in football. He went to the eagles zone and looked like a total bust. Same with DeAngelo Hall coming from being a great zone cb to the raiders who played man and just couldn't do anything.
Maybe jeanty just doesn't fit the zone scheme

Cousins excels so far in keeping turnovers to a minimum. That alone keeps the team close in games.

I dont know if game balls have been given but here’s mine
Laube - Best KR in NFL this season statistically..finally took one to the house. 1st Raiders KR TD since 2011.
Gay - clutch 50 year FG to extend the lead with just under 30 seconds to go
Cousins - Best Raider QB since Gannon. If only he had some mobility, or even tried to run, he’d be deadly.
Bowers - Has leapfrogged Maxx as best player on the team. And he’s starting to get the Michael Jordan treatment from the refs.
Oline for pass blocking.
Needs work
Oline run blocking, especially in short yardage situations. It’s atrocious
Defense, they showed up a few times when it counted but the most part were abysmal…especially in the run game. I give them credit for holding the Jets to early FGs though, that’s kinda of what won it in the end.
Needs,
Two more interior road grading OGs
NT - run stuffing and pocket pushing
WR1
Another DB who can cover WR 1.
Also start looking for an OT who can replace Miller

We're beating teams expected to be worse than us and losing to teams expected to be better than us. The life of a .500 team.
Enjoyed it, good fun, and will never take away from a dub.

I think both our backs would do much better with an improved O line.
Really glad we got the win, would’ve been brutal losing to Geno and Glenn.
....for a long time, we have lost 'those games'., and it did look less than promising for a while today....

Good to get a win against a banged up Jets team on an early East coast.
Laube big return was

always liked the speed he brings to the game.
Imo Chinn has played great this season, very good tackler as well.
Bowers has been awesome again this season,Mayer made some plays today and Washington get some yards when there was some space to do something.
Both lines absolutely suck ballz although the D-line stepped up late when needed and looked better with Flock Nation reading his podcast script on the sidelines lol
Our big $$$ Center is getting his $hit pushed in far too often and Miller seems to be struggling with speed around the edge...Our 2 "best" lineman have made some good plays but are far from criticism.
I'll give Cousins his due today and also for not being afraid to get his nose dirty on some QB sneaks.I still want to see Mendoza get some time but at 4-4 don't see it happening anytime soon.
Trade deadline is coming up,trade flocknation and even Jeanty if we can get a good return imo.

....I know it isn't the sexiest on the list, but that gay kick was clutch, and a miss there could have been huge ,in a bad way...

If he doesn't make that FG it's likely we do not win the game.

Jets haven’t scored more than 25 all year until today.
Defense appears to get a little worse each week. Still half a season to go but regression is worse than progression if I’m looking at the D coordinator
Is it the players or is it the DC or both?
I can't help but wonder if you took a legitimate defensive coordinator and swapped him out with ours at the beginning of the year with the same players if our defense would look the same. My feeling is we would be much better.

kubiak likes big backs and fast lightning backs ...jeanty is neither of those 2 things

i thought we should have punted it to take some more time off the clock and pin em deep but kubiaks has balls and went for the fg and won...love that he is out head coach and fixing our offense so well

I’ll go both. I have the feeling Leonard is a bit over his head. Obviously most of the dline needs replacing but it looks like things are getting g worse instead of better which I attribute to coaching.

I was yelling "punt the ball" at no one in particular while I was watching the game. Ballsy move by Kubiak.
