On another note: Very impressed with Micheal Mayer. I would argue that Micheal Mayer when he's on is also a top 10 TE. He's sneaky good at getting open, his route-running is impressive for a big TE. He's also getting really good at YAC.
Also: Considering our OL is much better at pass pro, Kubiak needs to call more draw plays.

And two TDs..I dont know why Kubiak just doesn’t start a game throwing deep to Tucker..just to keep defenses honest.erickench wrote: Sun Oct 18, 2026 4:43 pm The INT cost us the game!!! We still can't run the ball. But Tucker had himself a game. 97 yards on 5 rec.

Speaking of Tucker isn’t he a FA at the end of the season? If so don’t FAs normally get overpaid(Nailor) and do you think we bring him back?

The whole city has been disappointed since the NFL and Mr. Walmart force-fed them the Rams and Chargers instead of the Raiders.SkullCrusher wrote: Sun Oct 18, 2026 6:23 pm Can we do that now or is that at the end of the year? (Answered on next page)
I think the Bills are stupid, like why not just mimic what N.E. did until we can prove we can beat that on offense.
A broader point is a lot of team just don't take advantage of film like they should but they all talk "gameplan".
I would have said ok we know what to do against the Raiders watch this and if they start beating that we have a pivot plan in place.
Certainly our O then looks better, but I feel we'd fold all over again if the same plan was used against us.
D will just come along for now, we know we've got some player wins this year there, now we can see who can go the distance of a full season.
The Rams game, what a disappointment they must be to their fans.

Linderbaum has been excellent. Miller and Glaze to a lesser extent. In judging their performances you basically view it as those 3 guys playing all 5 offensive line positions. Looking at it that way you realize they’re doing pretty damn skippy.RunOverByHubbard wrote: Sun Oct 18, 2026 7:35 pm Linderbaum had his best game of the year. He looked all- pro. With some good guards and some top new blood at tackle — well that is off in the distance.
One more thing - that was one of the worst home crowds I’ve ever heard in the NFL. It’s sound alike. They were maybe 20,000 Raiders fans there.

Its definitely a work in progress but our defense is just not playing good enough to win against the better teams in this leauge. Our offense and Kirk is playing pretty good football...wish we had a little more run game to talk about, but I love that Klint is sticking with it no matter what. We will eventually start having more success imo....but we definitely can't abandon it.

Also had 1st and goal around the 1 and couldn’t get it in after a defender blew by the guard on 2nd down and tackled the back for a loss and then White dropped a td pass.Cruisin with Tooz wrote: Sun Oct 18, 2026 7:54 pm Much closer than I thought it would be. Turned out to be a winnable game sans the pick and the false start on Linder-bum on the 4th and 1.
Didn’t Jeanty drop a pass in the red zone and we ended to kicking a fg? A catch there changes the sequences of plays after that and it could have easily led to a td.
This team could easily have 4 or 5 wins if the team was a little bit better.

Tickets were expensive when I checked a day early, like around $320 for the cheapest seat. Buffalo had never played in Vegas in front of a crowd before so I’m sure that motivated some Buffalo fans to show up. And the beatdown at New England must have discouraged people.RunOverByHubbard wrote: Sun Oct 18, 2026 7:35 pm Linderbaum had his best game of the year. He looked all- pro. But it was still very annoying and I hated hearing the crowd get loud when our offense faced a 3rd down.
Unfortunately the Rams haven’t played in front of a crowd in Vegas before so I’m afraid we might see a bunch of their fans next week.

I don’t know about that. LA is known for being the most lackadaisical fans in sports unless it’s about the Lakers. The only reason the Rams (and because of Mrs. Walmart’s husband’s tiny pecker, the Chargers) got football back in LA is because he footed the entire bill for the stadium etc himself. If there’s any truly passionate football fans in LA, they’re wearing Silver&Black.Steve007 wrote: Sun Oct 18, 2026 10:58 pm Tickets were expensive when I checked a day early, like around $320 for the cheapest seat. I think we’ve got a good chance to take this one, and an even better chance of having an actual home crowd again.

Another tough loss but at least they played much better than the shitshow against the Pats. There is definitely a sense of direction and purpose that has been missing other seasons.
The D needs to improve. Nearly 80 points conceded over 2 games is not good enough. They need to tighten it up against the Rams.
And for gods sakes, give Jeanty some rest. Dude cannot run properly, he has no zip or acceleration on that ankle

Myself and a few others predicted the probable loss of a home field advantage from a move to Vegas before a shovel was stuck in the ground. We were drowned out by the voices of “the Coliseum stinks” and it also became clear that even Raiders fans saw the move to a new stadium as an investment opportunity (as in sell their seats to visiting fans). I do note however that visiting (opponents) fans are louder than ever before in many stadiums these days. There are still places with the pretty pure home field advantage advantage like Green Bay and Seattle, but our situation is the worst in the league by quite a bit. Oh well - I have heard that the bathrooms in Allegiant are great.Steve007 wrote: Sun Oct 18, 2026 10:58 pm Tickets were expensive when I checked a day early, like around $320 for the cheapest seat. I thought about the LA fans being lackadaisical too. I always thought Laker fans were that way in addition to fans of other LA teams.GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Sun Oct 18, 2026 11:57 pm I don’t know about that. But LA is MUCH closer to Vegas than Buffalo or Kansas City. It will be interesting to see how many Rams fans make the drive.
The Rams are such a huge disappointment so far. Maybe that will discourage some people from coming.

As if the fans had any say in the matters.RunOverByHubbard wrote: Mon Oct 19, 2026 12:37 am Myself and a few others predicted the probable loss of a home field advantage from a move to Vegas before a shovel was stuck in the ground. The NFL finally saw how much money they could make with a team in Vegas. Pretty much ends with that.

....correct, either you read it wrong or I said it wrong. but either way, that is the point, they did stay out there because they did take us seriously.GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Sun Oct 18, 2026 6:07 pm I thought they spent the week practicing at UC Irvine and flew to Vegas on Saturday.

I expected a blowout. The Raiders went toe to toe with one of the best in the AFC.
So... we are .500
3 wins 3 losses
162 points scored
162 points allowed
Played the best teams
Played the worst teams
We are perfectly average
What an improvement from last year.
