2026 Draft - Raiders & all teams (April 23-25)
Obvious Mendoza #1 no consideration of trading that pick.
But who you got picks 2 - 4 thats going to help Mendoza.
#2 Raiders should be able to select WR Chris Bell or WR KC Concepcion with our early 2nd.
#3 I forget who it was, but someone here mentioned that the best pure dominant RT coming out of college could be got in the 3rd. And stated hes played his whole career at RT, and not being moved around the line.
Sounds like solid gets
Id hope the rest of the draft is building the trenches, with maybe 1 DB in there
Who else you like ?

I really like Chris Johnson, from San Diego State. Might sneak into the 1st round with how good his tape and production has been this year.

Protecting the future. Priority 1BoKnows81 wrote: Thu Jan 22, 2026 2:06 pm I'd have no problem using a 2nd & 3rd on guard if we have to. It's absolutely mind numbing that we were having this same discussion last offseason. Not only did they think a solution was signing one of the worst guards in the NFL (Cappa), they doubled up and gave the line a moron for a coach.
Taking steps to fix the Defense: Priority 2
Nothing else is all that important to me.

Even though I’m lost on last year’s OLine draft picks potential, I’m making an assumption that someone can handle RT out of the lot. And until Carroll’s short-bus son took the reins, Glaze was earning decent marks at the position.
So my scenario when goofin’ with mock simulators has been to hope we can fill RT with what we have or via FA. I assume again that we have Miller at LT, JPJ handling a G position since I’ve read enough about him to not want him at C. I’m then hunting for a C and G in the mocks. More often than not I’m knocking them out in the 2nd and 3rd.
OlaIvavega Ioane OG Penn State, 2nd. (Can play either G position allowing JPJ to play the G position he’s most comfortable.)
Emmanuel Pregnon OG Oregon, 2nd. (Draft profile has him at LG. JPJ would have to play RG which is where he had the most snaps last year. Career total snaps as a Raider at G, LG 506 & RG 383.)
Then at C I’ve become interested in…
Jake Slaughter C Florida, 3rd. (Draft profiles have him as a bit of a “football nerd”. I like the idea of football nerd Mendoza growing with a football nerd C.)
Still, so much more to learn about our OLine and FA before we have to turn in the cards. Plus, Maxx. Do we or don’t we?

I'd love Ioane but he won't be there in the 2nd unfortunately.GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Thu Jan 22, 2026 3:42 pm Even though I’m lost on last year’s OLine draft picks potential, I’m making an assumption that someone can handle RT out of the lot. I don’t like the idea of us drafting a right tackle. Rather let Glaze and Grant develop and sign a big name FA for that position. Heck I’d say that for most the O-line. Maybe a IOl guy to add competition. I want to see money spent on that in FA.
I want to see a very heavy defensive draft!

Purely nuthin’ to this, but meh, Maxx to Wash for this year’s 1st (7), 3rd (71), and 1st in ‘27.

In a f[raiders_icon]cking heartbeat. Shit, I'd probably do it just for #7 and the 3rd.GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Thu Jan 22, 2026 4:33 pm

We pick 4th in the second round so I wonder if we'd have to move up to get him.WNYRAIDER wrote: Wed Jan 21, 2026 5:17 am ...I saw one mock with Emmanuel Pregnon, guard, from Oregon, in the 2nd, yesterday....
Ive seen him ranked from.28-32 and our r2 pick is 36

I see many wanting Surratt…if we are wanting an Indy receiver we want Cooper.

Nearly everyone, at least in this thread, prefer Cooper.HesterLayes wrote: Thu Jan 22, 2026 7:56 pm I see many wanting Surratt…if we are wanting an Indy receiver we want Cooper.

Where we thinking his stock is? I’ve seen as low as 4 and as high as potentially a mid-late 2ndHesterLayes wrote: Thu Jan 22, 2026 7:56 pm I see many wanting Surratt…if we are wanting an Indy receiver we want Cooper.

I’d say late 2…he is a stud and it seems national championship players always get a little boost lol.raiders93 wrote: Thu Jan 22, 2026 10:26 pm Where we thinking his stock is? I’ve seen as low as 4 and as high as potentially a mid-late 2nd
No way round 4…that’s more Surratt range

I’m really starting to like Sonny Styles the kid has an interesting size speed ratio at 6’4, 240+ & runs a reported 4.48 40.
Seen alot of comparisons to Devin Lloyd which piqued my interest & watching him doesn't disappoint, be nice to have a dynamic playmaker on the defence
LB is probably our biggest need talent wise ( i knw we need OL) so i’d have no issue taking a guys like Styles in the 2nd

I like him too, but I have a feeling he’ll be able to vault himself into the late 1st after the combine. Reese, Downs, McDonald, Styles. Ohio State could have 4 1st Rounders from their D alone.CWood24 wrote: Fri Jan 23, 2026 2:49 am I’m really starting to like Sonny Styles the kid has an interesting size speed ratio at 6’4, 240+ & runs a reported 4.48 40.
