Next up……….Jacksonville Jags 11/2
Plenty of threads discussing blowing everything up and venting after Sundays disaster. As I type this we have 13 days to get that out of our system before we play our next game. Raiders are physically and mentally limping right now but hopefully Bowers and others will be healed and rested for Jax. Jax is coming off a bye week as well so both teams will be rested and presumably prepared. Discuss

Tua is terrible. Always has been. It’s sad we are always connected to garbage with no upside.

I hope they made some adjustments for smith to get rid of the ball quicker. Having bowers back should help

I think there is a decent chance we win this week with Bowers back healthy off a bye. I dont personally think Jacksonville is nearly as good as their record and is very beatable. Probably the last one wed win for a few weeks though.

Hunter on IR. I have not been impressed with him thus far so might not matter

[Harvey] Jacksonville Jaguars WR/CB Travis Hunter injured his knee in practice yesterday. He will be placed on injured reserve and will miss at least four games, head coach Liam Coen announces. Tough break for a rookie who looked ready to break out.
Looks like we have a decent chance of winning this game. Not good news if you're rooting for a tank.

I expect breakout games from Bech and Tyree Wilson.
Bey on it.

He had a breakout game before their bye. It's ashame he got hurt. He's not a bad player and Jacksonville is trying to get him involved more it just hasn't worke out so far.Attyla wrote: Fri Oct 31, 2025 8:20 am Hunter on IR. I have not been impressed with him thus far so might not matter

I think expecting him to be a 2 way star from the get go was always unrealistic. Hes done a nice job developing on both sides so far. That said, he was always over drafted in the fact they gave up picks to move up for him. You dont do that unless it's for a QBAttyla wrote: Fri Oct 31, 2025 8:20 am Hunter on IR. I misses his last game. I wanted to see the hype on the guy so I have watched a few Jags games and he was hardly seen at all. I get the Raiders game on the big screen this week and had hoped to see more. Ah well, I am just glad the only thing next to me during games is something I would never even consider throwing at my TV, my Raiders cocktail glass.DeathStar24 wrote: Fri Oct 31, 2025 9:02 am He had a breakout game before their bye. Stupid massive overpay for Hunter. Im so glad we won those last 2 games last year and we didnt get stuck getting that haul of picks Cle got from the Jags. But I guess there is value in every win. I know Im going to cherish the memory of beating NO for the rest of my life.

He is getting the ball out a lot quicker (doesn't throw past 10 yards a la Garopablow). He just sucks. Bowers will no doubt help, but Smith actually plays like a rookie (countless throws into double and triple coverage, doesn't take his eyes off primary receiver, doesn't work thru progressions).
