Jack Del Rio was 25-23 as the Raiders head coach (.521). Mark Davis for all of his infinite wisdom decided to fire him, mainly because of his Jon Gruden man crush.
Del Rio should have had another season to try and save his career…..don’t know what would’ve happened but he might have had a better fourth season with raiders; plus Mack might have stayed with raiders if Del Rio was coach instead of Gruden….

I want Liam Coen. I expect Vrabel or Flores. Leave it to this f[raiders_icon]cking shit show to hire defensive minded coaches.

Engstrand is a young up-and-comer with a top offense.
No doubt. He has come out and said numerous times he won't leave unless it's a perfect situation. There will be a lot better options than this mess
I don't get the feeling he wants to leave Detroit. Any team looking for a new HC isn't exactly Super Bowl bound already. Johnson and everyone else on the planet knows that a new HC is expected to make a shit team competitive. So even if he does want to be a HC, he's going to be waiting a long damn time for his "perfect situation."

He will leave this year to the team that offers the best combo of pay, prospects, and roster control.
Oh my God. please no.
The Turnip is going back to the well again. It will not surprise me in the least if his lack of creative thinking causes him to say, "You know, that ancient DC did pretty good with that Brady dude, now that Brady dude is a Raider, so bring in the ancient dude to work with his old teammate yet again"

Another stab at the Patriot way.

I think McDaniels and Belichick is a package deal so highly unlikely an option for Davis. McDaniels just happens to be unemployed and is the only OC he’s had success with over the past decade. At 73 years old he will want to be up and running things his way as fast as possible with coordinators he’s had success with and trusts. Also I don’t think the Raiders timeline of success aligns with Belichick’s. I wouldn’t be shocked if he ends up in the NFC East with either Dallas or the Giants.

Bellicheat wants Shula's record BAD. The problem is that his age is going to require him to sign up for a franchise with potential. That leaves us out. I would hope that he realizes Fat Andy is going to pass everyone.
