Hopefully this will end the He can’t throw deep talking pint.
we all know he can throw it deep. we also know he can throw with poor mechanics deep and that is where the problem lies.
Carr CAN make all the throws. We all know that, and last year he started out great doing just that. It is as the season goes on where we have the problems. He can throw TDs in the red zone and yet struggles to do so. He can throw beautiful TDs and yet of the top 10 QBs in yards last year he was one of the absolute worst.
We all know all the stuff he can do, and the list is long, it is what he chooses to do that concerned me as the year progressed. At the mid point last year he was 1st or second in yards per game, and he ended up 5th which is great but the fall from the top was obvious.
The "can" in Carr is amazing, he can do so much. It is the "does" that makes him an upper half QB instead of a franchise QB

Another excuse is, Waller played only 3 games in the second half of the season. 3/9

Hopefully this will end the He can’t throw deep talking pint.
Seeing those Ruggs catches is painful. The kid was starting to seriously find his role. Anyway..
At this point he Raiders need to sign a fa #1 wr.
It should be their biggest focus next month.
They can't rely on drafting one and hope it works out. Sign a established reliable stud wr for shots sake already.

and the Waller excuse does not wash. Other than the first game of the season, he was not a huge factor. Check out his TDs for the year prior to the injury. Renfrow was his go to guy and he was there all year.
You’re right. The Raiders belong anywhere after #6. Though I would also put us anywhere above the Vikings, what with Kirk Cousins being a smidge better than Carr.
Sure will be a wonderful day when the Raiders finally draft an “elite” quarterback.
According to some we already do, there is this gem from "page" 1..
It’s a nice feeling to have an elite QB.
I feel bad for the teams that don’t. Not.
Looking like Rodgers out there just flicking those angles and wrist. Too damn good.
And too damn accurate compared to other QBs. Those ball placements are insane.
Anyone seen said poster? Time to start putting out an APB on the side of milk cartons.

Carr is a diamond in the rough, he just needs them diamond cuts aka a HOF Oline, HOF receivers, HOF defensive players and a HOF coach like Stabler had. Cole was all-pro so we got our Ray Guy at least.
Sarcasm........

Kind of telling that our most consistent pro bowl players over the last 15 years have been punters. Lechler and now Cole.
