Yikes lol… for $40M a year is Carr leading the team to the SB? Is he one top 5 QBs in the NFL?
Some positives about carr because I always post negatives.
1. He has a high character off-field Demeanor.
2 He almost never misses a game due to injuries.
3. He is accurate in short passes.

Feel free to add to the list.
Hes a snappy dresser?

Everybody "knows" its happening. It's the Bowlcut way. Some of us are just wishing it won't. The same kind of wishing you do when you buy a lotto ticket. You know you won't win but....................

If Carr wants to get paid $40 million, he needs to throw for 40 td's to justify that pay.

Only problem is people, including the Carr family, will blame everyone but Carr for failing to do so.
actually a lot of guys around here think it is not happening.
I was hoping it wouldn’t happen after they got eliminated from the playoffs but then instant reports came out Mark was looking to make a decision on Carr before he hired the new coach and GM. Since then I resigned to the fact he’s getting a big fat new contract… a man can dream though lol.

Even a short 2 year deal means both years carry money that hits the cap. If this happens, he is ours for 3 years. Final year of his current deal plus 2 at the very least...unless they void the last year. If I am Mark, I do not void the last year as we need the money this off season so that is 3 years at the very least.

I love Derek I really do but if we pay him 40 mil a year I am going to puke. I was kind of hoping he would take a team friendly deal at about 15 mil a year but I guess that was just naive thinking

The Raiders shouldn’t even extend him this year, dare him to hold out, I’ll bet that he won’t .

40. That is absolutely hilarious. 35 is no better.

Mark is a dipshit, or if you don't believe this was Mark's decision then our coach is a dipshit. Neither bodes well.

This is business, business says you pay 20 next year and 30 on the tag the year after if still not sold. Try before you buy, we aren't shopping at Wal-Mart with a return policy. Common fuggn sense.

If he gets 40, that is 20 million next year and 10 the year after we are pissing away to be buddy buddy with him. Obviously he is not available, but Aaron Donald had a 15 million cap hit this year...

If it was not against the rules I would link NFL.com. we have to get that cap to 300 million asap now to field a competitive team. Start buying merchandise now.

A year still remaining on current contract and a brand new regime in town………..but then Raiders
