Free agency opens March 11. CBS Sports has their top 50 ranking. No Raiders on the list. I am surprised at a couple rated high - Aaron Rodgers and Daniel Jones. Lots of wide receivers

Switching to a 3-4 might give Koonce a better chance of sticking around.

I remember some Raider football in a 3/4.
Were they won 3 Superbowls with it!

Sign Andrew Billings, get Lee Hunter in the 2nd if he's there. I think Hunter goes 1st round but my f[raiders_icon]ck, that would be a wall up front. Hunter had 25 pressures at nose tackle & allowed Bailey/Height to get a bunch of sacks pushing the pocket back

Hunter is my 2nd round pick of choice right now assuming we hit the O line in FA hard. Hopefully he's there's in the 2nd.

The 3-4 switch tells mr we are going in on LB simply because we have none that are good enough to start some young backups but no real starting level talent

Spend money & triple dip the Devin’s, sign Lloyd & Bush then resign White

Re-sign Stokes & develop Porter/Richardson

Sign Andre Cisco so that the Chinn/Pola-Mao combo never see light again

The DL has some young pieces we could develop some maybe grab big NT or even draft one

An average D would be good for once

Backup option? He had a pretty bad year.

Torn achilles a year or two back. No go,we are building a young team to grow together, not a pastiche of old, injured vets, no matter how cheap.

Your AI answer:

The Cincinnati Bengals are strongly considering using the franchise tag on defensive end
Trey Hendrickson before the March 3, 2026 deadline, with a "tag-and-trade" scenario being a real possibility. While no final decision has been announced, team officials have not ruled it out, as they look to secure value for the pass rusher.
Key Details:

Tag Cost: A franchise tag for Hendrickson in 2026 is projected to be around
30 million to 34 million.
Potential Move: The team may tag him specifically to trade him, rather than keeping him for the season.
Status: Hendrickson is coming off an injury-shortened 2025 season and is looking for a long-term deal.
Deadline: The deadline for applying the tag is March 3, 2026

I have seen Jorfan Davis listed in a couple of places as a trade candidate. I doubt it, but if he is available, boy you would have to consider it.

I don't like the idea of making a trade with Howie Roseman - if he's willing to trade a player, he probably has a reason. Especially a young lineman who's developing.

Not so much free agency but could be because trade candidates are also cut candidates. Apparently we are a landing spot for all of these except the QBs

30-34 MILLION IS NOT THAT FAR OUT OF LINE WITH WHAT HIS YEARLY SALARY WOULD BE, SO I GUESS THAT MEANS HE WILL GET TAGGED. AT WORST THEY CANT FIND A TRADE PARTNER AND THEY GET HIM FOR 1 YEAR AT MARKET RATE.

The estimate previously released by the league was $301-305 so it's a bit lower - most cap experts pegged it in the middle so each team has about $2 million less than previously predicted. Not a major difference, but it marginally helps the Raiders, and other teams that have lots of cap space.
