Raiders Visit NJ to Take On the Jets - Game Day Thread
Weather is supposed to be pleasant, with the temperature at 62 degrees with lots of sun.
Spread is Raiders -1.5 and the over/under is 45.5
On tap today, it is really finally chili weather with crusty bread and I will be making a dirty chai martini batch for the wife and I to enjoy
Enjoy the games on tap today fellas

I am such a meanie. Literally, you PMed me because I was mean to you. Responding to a post where you took a shot at a friend of mine EXACTLY in the same way. And it hurt your feelings. LMAO. Go get yourself an In & Out burger and take a breath. I also reached out to the person in question and apologized as I couldn't address the comment in a closed thread. It was simply a question and it didn't come off right. I am not going to louse up this thread with a pissing match.Attyla wrote: Sun Nov 01, 2026 1:52 pm I am such a meanie. Ok. Now for some facts:
His sack was stolen from Tonka Hemingway. He was getting stonewalled by both tackles. He only got pressure with stunts from other players.
The best defensive series the Raiders had all game, a TFL and a sack back to back, happened when Maxx was sitting on the sideline.
Our defensive personal makes more sense on paper when Maxx not in the lineup.

From someone that doesn't have an In& Out anywhere near them, are they really all that? Or just hype?Reno Hightower wrote: Sun Nov 01, 2026 1:58 pm LMAO. Go get yourself an In & Out burger and take a breath. I have never been banned from a discussion forum, ever...I'll just leave it at that.

You don't like Maxx because he made a video with his kid. You claimed if he was in the military he could be court marshalled, LOL wowReno Hightower wrote: Sun Nov 01, 2026 1:58 pm LMAO. If it had originated in say Omaha Nebraska? I doubt Californians would fawn over it they way they do.

Apparently to some as he sold his soul dearly defending their burger. I really don't have an opinion either way as they are not big where I reside.Hellbound wrote: Sun Nov 01, 2026 2:03 pm From someone that doesn't have an In& Out anywhere near them, are they really all that? Or just hype?

I have always been more of a fan of the local burger joints. Five Guys makes fries out of some of my potatoes so I usually visit them when I am in a city that has one.Willmark wrote: Sun Nov 01, 2026 2:05 pm In and out is ridiculously overrated.

It’s fast food like other fast food that Californians have pumped to be some sort of quasi religious experience.

I mean its descent but the mythology around it is a bit much, that’s putting it politely.

They are good, and prices are less than McDonalds which tells you a lot. Meat quality is solid with the right fat percent. Buns hold up. Fries are fresh cut during the day. Add on's are solid. For the price they are solid. I get a single animal style maybe once a month, and that is only because they are a recent add near us, that number will go down over time but the novelty factor played in.Willmark wrote: Sun Nov 01, 2026 2:08 pm Hype.

For me it is more about nostalgia than anything else. Good memories of guys running over after school to pound one down while cranking up the latest hair band tape we had.
