It would be entertaining for Tomlin to leave arguably the most stable nfl franchise to the most dysfunctional franchise and then retire and write a book about it. I’d enjoy that book comparing the two franchises lol

Mike Tomlin became coach of the Steelers in 2007. Hes had 18 full seasons. In those 18 seasons, his record is
183-107-2 with 0 losing seasons and 1 superbowl.
The raiders record is
113-179 with 13 losing seasons
I imagine the same guys who didn't want Vrabel also wont want Tomlin.

I didn't want Vrabel and sure as f[raiders_icon]ck dont want Tomlin. Tomlin inherited an elite Steelers team. He hasn't built shit. I'm sorry but to me, he's one of the most overrated coaches of all time. We wouldnt even be talking about Tomlin if it weren't for Big Ben.DanKD wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 12:28 pm Mike Tomlin became coach of the Steelers in 2007. Hes had 18 full seasons. I mean Big Ben has been gone how long? They still are always in it. Maybe not superbowl contenders and he has certainly made some questionable offensive coordinator moves but he wins football games.BoKnows81 wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 12:41 pm I didn't want Vrabel and sure as fck dont want Tomlin. Ben has been gone for 4 years. The team hasn't won a playoff game since 2016 and his playoff record is 8-11, in which 5 of those victories came in 2008 and 2010. Do i think he's a terrible coach? No. But I dont think he's even remotely as good as everyone thinks he is.Raidernation1979 wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 12:44 pm I mean Big Ben has been gone how long? They still are always in it. I’m not saying he’s the end I’ll be all. But it sure would be nice to open to the playoffs 11+ times over the past 15 years I remember when he tried to trip the ravens returner coming down the sideline that team is almost always formidable and hard to beat thoughBoKnows81 wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 12:53 pm Ben has been gone for 4 years. I think Tomlin is solid as a motivator and people manager. The Steelers have had a blueprint in place for decades, they have a system, a conservative one and go shopping for players that fit said system. At minimum they are mediocre, but if they could have stacked drafts around TJ Watt, they could have been great, but failure to develop players has been Tomlin's and the Steelers downfall since their last Bowl.

Just curious who you think the Raiders should get to be the next head coach?BoKnows81 wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 12:41 pm I didn't want Vrabel and sure as fck dont want Tomlin. Anyway, hopefully Taylen Green makes his way to a starting roster, if not with us. Would love to see him become a success story in the NFL as I truly believe he is a diamond in the rough.

Quite honestly, I don't know. However, I do know that I want a young offensive mind with a young QB.FLORIDARAYDAH wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 1:25 pm Just curious who you think the Raiders should get to be the next head coach?

I think we just broke this guymranquales wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 1:37 pmGuy who lies about how many posts another poster made about (subject) is fine.
Guy who calls out liar and an obviously flawed database is stupid.
Makes sense.

And the data base is not flawed, but you might be.

I guess I will be the one to break it to you- no one pays that much attention to you here.mranquales wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 6:21 am Because the sites been refurbished, I assume. I've mentioned Drake Maye plenty of times other than the ones you low effort searched.
I also mentioned Christian Gonzales several times in that year's draft but only one search result will pop up on that.
Only 11 matches for Tyree Wilson but everyone on here knows I've mentioned him WAY more than 11 times.
