Pete needs to get some rhythm. I know I have posted this previously, but what the Keith is a kindred spirit.

The smartphone generation wants big, sexy hooks within the first 30 seconds or they just click the next thing down the list. This song has an intro, bridge and outro in addition to the usual verse/chorus structure...like all good songs, it is complex and takes you for a ride as you listen. Hell, some of Meatloaf's stuff clocks in at 10+ minutes...still its a shame that kids don't really just sit and listen to a whole album like people used to do. Anyway, I'm rambling on...as usual Just my opinion on why musical quality is lacking in today's pop music...So called songs today have no structure or composition or any of the basic music theory I was taught when learning guitar. And what really shits me is the so called sampling thing they do which to me is out and out plagiarism.
