I love when he talks like this ^

This thread is wild.
If he talks too much, he should stfu and play.
If he doesn’t say what you want to hear, he’s hiding something.
I don’t love everything he does with media or podcasts but at the end of the day, the guy wants to win and be great.
His team has handicapping his career by shuffling head coaches and players on defense. What was it last year? 7 or 8 new starters again?
He’s at the facility rocking Raiders gear. I’m happy he’s on our side until he’s not. I’d never blame him if he asked to be traded but I have to imagine he’s waiting it out to see what we do.
Technically we still don’t have a staff or a QB. I have to imagine when we secure both and surround him with some talent, he’ll be ready to roll.

She couldn’t text me back because I gave her a fake number. She wasn’t all that.DanKD wrote: Fri Feb 06, 2026 1:19 pm I'm ok trading him if we can get two firsts or so but he is literally decked out in raiders gear. Stop analyzing everything he says like you're trying to find out why your date never texted you back.

So she and league circles are guessing, only wording it differently, and throwing it out there to get clicks. Because this reads as a total opinionated guess

Nothing really matters right now anyway. Plenty of fans have wanted Maxx gone for a while, and that hasn't changed - the insiders posting all this not-very-inside info are feeding those people to an extent. Their real focus is on getting clicks from fans of the other 31 teams who are all thinking about how they can win the offseason. Big trades are big news and lead to so many clicks. They're also focusing on Justin Jefferson a lot because speculation = clicks.Hellbound wrote: Sat Feb 07, 2026 6:09 am So she and league circles are guessing, only wording it differently, and throwing it out there to get clicks. I'll just wait and see - the next hint of anything will be when Kubiak is introduced. The rest is all media created fluff.

Trade him, don't trade him. I don't care as it's not my team and there's nothing I can say or do about any of it. I will say the DC job is more attractive with Maxx than without him. There's absolutely no way anyone can dispute thatchucker wrote: Sat Feb 07, 2026 6:15 am Nothing really matters right now anyway. A new DC absolutely wants Maxx on the team. Aside from Maxx, we don't currently have anything on defense that a prospective DC can lean on so any DC with options might choose a different job - including potentially waiting a year for another opportunity.Hellbound wrote: Sat Feb 07, 2026 6:23 am Trade him, don't trade him. Would the new DC want Maxx or would he want more picks to spend on the defensive side of the ball? We truly dont know that. I would assume that any DC coming here clearly knows this is a rebuild. Obviously Maxx is a high motor, give it all type player but maybe the new DC would rather have the picks. Not leaning one way or another but all im saying is we don't know yet. I dont see us building around Maxx enough on defense in year 1. That has to be factored in.

Your posts about the Maxx situation say different. You constantly post about how you want him traded.BoKnows81 wrote: Sat Feb 07, 2026 8:02 am Would the new DC want Maxx or would he want more picks to spend on the defensive side of the ball? Having Maxx on the team is the most attractive thing to a DC candidate. Also don't assume the picks you get from a trade will automatically be allocated to the defensive side of the ball as that's entirely dependent on how the draft goes and would be Spytek's call. Gruden made the decision to trade away his best pass rusher in Mack and he still gets flamed for it. Unless Maxx has privately said he wants out, you keep him.
No DC in their right mind is going to come in and say get rid of the best player on defense and it would still be Spytek's call regardless

It's not like you'd trade Maxx and have an empty void, plenty of directions they could go. Odafe Oweh is a free agent, he's played in the division, is younger than Maxx, could sign him, he had 7.5 sacks this year, had 10 sacks a few years ago with Baltimore. K'Lavon Chaisson is also a free agent, we should have kept him last year, and think he'd be great to bring back. You'd get draft picks (excellent WR draft, and we have a great need there) and 30 million to spend if you're able to spend it well (free agents would need to choose Vegas).chucker wrote: Sat Feb 07, 2026 6:27 am A new DC absolutely wants Maxx on the team. The advantages we do have going for us this year -- the vibe is incredibly high. Guys like Pat McAfee have really been talking us up because of the Fernando Mendoza angle, it feels like we could be the next team like New England to really have a resurgence led by a young franchise QB and top coach candidate choosing us. Free agent players and their agents are quite aware of the buzz and Vegas is a much more appealing destination right now than it has been in a long time.- These users gave a High Five to the author Corleone for the post (total 4):

Nothing wild about it. Maxx could have simply said Glazers report was not true that he doesn't want to be traded, would have been enough for 99% of this board. He gave several interviews and specifically would not say that when asked, which should have spoken loudly to any Raiders fan listening. Im not even mad about it but let's not act like he did anything yesterday to refute the rumors of him wanting a trade.BG3428 wrote: Sat Feb 07, 2026 2:43 am This thread is wild.

What I'm getting from all this: Maxx will absolutely not be traded. Unless he is.

Honestly, I'm not even sure he wants out, I think the Raiders may just be trading him because of the antics he pulled when we IR'd him. It may be as simple as the Patriot way with Tom Brady -- do your job and put the team first. Posting a video of himself playing basketball was a giant f[raiders_icon]ck you to the Raiders during a pretty critical time in our season (we had to lose to get the QB we need).RickRyb wrote: Sat Feb 07, 2026 8:37 am "Maxx Crosby SHUTS DOWN reports that he wants out of the Las Vegas Raiders! @dandakich"

Raiders could have definitely decided at that moment that he wasn't someone they wanted continuing to lead the franchise, especially with the value we can get back in return via trade. Spytek gave a hint when he said next season isn't about immediate wins, it's about building the foundation, they may not see Max as part of that foundation.- These users gave a High Five to the author Corleone for the post (total 3):
