The team is averaging around 27 points a game with all the flaws.

It's the defense that is killing the team.

Absolutely we are, and I have a lot of faith that we have good people in the important positions now. Were still building from last place though.

To be honest the O is getting a lot of garbage points when the games are out of reach. They looked pathetic in the first half again today. Started out with our 2 yard gain followed by the always effective screen against a stacked box for a 4 yard loss.

Has been and always will be until Davis relinquishes control in some capacity

My fault with Coach is, after 6 weeks you should know who can play and who cannot
The cannot’s take a seat and try try again

GM needs to rid this team of the deadweight to include Crosby

It’s a disaster and disappointment to say the least
Oh believe it, this whole season is an audition. Expecting a Alot of new faces next year. I still like though hat this team outside of New England still shows some fight though. A few years other than KC on Christmas and Chargers on that Thursday night game, this game under AP, Pete, or Mcdipshit would have went home at halftime. I like that they got up off the mat down 22 in the heading into the 4th.

I feel as though this is the worst it will be for a Klint Kubiak coached Raiders team. Does it suck? Yes, but I see a direction and a foundation to build a contender. I always thought things needed to be burned to the ground and last year saw that.

Tired of hearing about moral victories. Losing sucks. But objectively speaking there is also a means to an end.

There was effort in the 2nd half, but don't get it twisted we never had a chance & got curb stomped in every category.

Nailor has been a disappointment. He has not been worth his contract.

It’s true the team showed some life in the 2nd half and fought back, but the Rams have made it a habit to look great early in games, take their foot off the gas pedal and let the other team back. They have had some pretty big chokes in games they looked like they were going to easily win. Last season it cost them the #1 seed.

This game reminded me of the games we have played against Andy Reid and the Chiefs -- out coached (play-calling) on both sides of the ball. For example, their screen passes take us by surprise; our screen passes don't go anywhere.

I won’t say the Raiders were fools gold. You have to beat three NFl teams to be 3-0 but we have seen a major difference between us and the teams we want to be. The last 4 weeks we faced organizations and teams that compete for Super Bowls every year. The Raiders are not there.

1 Is it time to put in Fernando? I don’t think that will happen until the Raiders are mathematically out of the playoffs. Kirk isn’t the issue.

2 the issue on offense is the inconsistency of the running game, imo Jenaty needs to be benched and allowed to work on what ever issue that is bothering him.

3 Once again we have a horrible defense which has been our Achilles Heel for over 20 years. We have had good offense numerous times but the defense held us back. The two times the Raiders had an average defense, we made the playoff. It’s only Leonardo’s first year so I say give him time to get player she wants.

4 Klint continues to make head scratching decisions.

5 The away crowd was not nearly as bad as it could have been. I dunno if it is because there are not that many Rams fans in general but it was a good Raider crowd until the Rams pulled away.

Well just got around to watching the game. As already stated this Raider team is slim on talent and a work in progress. I'm not that down on them as most, this was the worst team in the NFL last year and has been one of the worst for the last decade, crappy drafts left this team devoid of talent so it's not gonna get turned around over night.

Back to the game, one glaring observation was how bad the defensive line played, on running plays they were getting blasted 3-4 yards off the line. They generated absolutely no pressure.and factor in an inexperienced secondary and these are the results you will get. They have to get some better talent next year on the interior D Line. As far as Rob Leonard, he got outcoached so we'll see if he can make some adjustments for the rest of the season.

The coaching’s better and there’s more dog in the team. But we still have a woeful roster and it’s going to take more than one offseason to fix it.

We need to go big on linemen. Both offensive and defensive. We’re weak and slow on both. If we fix that, everything else gets better.

Raidernation1979 wrote: Sun Oct 25, 2026 7:47 pm Oh no our young secondary got schooled by mcvay/stafford. The biggest issue is and has been the inability to stop the run. That’s personnel more than scheme.

Tackling is fundamental. Guys have been doing it since pop warner. The fact they don’t do it in a pro game is again personnel and not on coaching.
I've been harping about the tackling too. It's terrible. They give up large gains because of missed tackles.

...he has also had receivers without names open deep, and was in a position to make it happen on many of the plays I saw where they separated early enough and the safety was already disregarding that threat and moving forward.
...we are finally seeing them take some of those shots, I suspect, to try and take some heat off of the running game, but those have been there a lot of times where I had that view on my screen, and he was just never looking to take advantage of them stacking the box....for whatever reason. ....everyone knows we need some help at the wt position, but we have not been taking advantage of the no names we have, who people might have become a bit more familiar with, had we taken some of those shots.
...I understand the stubbornness in trying to make the running game work, but of you keep getting the same results, in part, due to teams feeling you won't take those shots,at some point, you do what you have to do to try and open things up a bit for the running game.
