The Raiders are a real football team this year! What else needs to be said. From coaching to how they are playing they are a legit team. For the first time since 2021 we are 3-0 and we made the playoffs this year.

1 White and Masses deserve active roster spots. White has been catching touchdown. and masses has been getting picks.

2 The defense was a lot like the 2016 defense today. The Saints scored a lot on them BUT they made up for it by getting numerous turnovers. If you can’t make em punt. That is a viable alternative.

3 Dean has completely changed this defense. Best FA signing in years.

4 Klint showed what he is made off as a coach when his team was down 11. So far he is the best HC we have heard since Gruden 1.0 and coaching makes a huge difference

5 We missed Bowers, he opens so much for the offense.I expect things to get easier for the running game with him back.

6 Let’s not fight over Jeanty and Washington. If they are one two punch that only helps the Raiders. Klint’s offense is based on the run so if they are both productive that is only good.

The Raiders have scored 88 points in the first three games. According to chatgtp, the Raiders haven't scored 88 or more points in the first three games of the season since 1968.

Feels like I'm in the twilight zone.

What a difference coaching makes. When the saints went up 11 off the laube fumble I couldn’t help but think “here we go again”. The response you expect is the doors get blown off. What we got was a gritty performance where we dusted ourselves off and took control of the game.

Game balls:

- bowers - absolute beast. Easily TE1 in the league and I don’t think there’s even a particularly close 2nd.

- Dean: just seems to be around the ball all the time. Seems to be the guy coming up with the big plays when you need them. Dream signing so far

- koonce: a lot of us were down on him throughout preseason but he’s starting to look like 2023 version again.

- masses: not a flawless game but damn does this guy just seem to know where to be and when to be there.

We sure did. Saw something that said 2002 was the last time. However this feels more like the 02 team than the mediocre 2021 team
