I think Aiden has the head to learn the scheme, read defenses and deliver the ball with accuracy on time.

The Raiders will carry 3 QBs this year. They'd be foolish not to bc Cousins wont be on the team next year.
Kubiak will have a QB3, and a 4 possibility, learning the system because next year one of them will be QB2.

QB 2 won't be Aiden. I like the guy but, he just isn't the guy.

Just bc Aidan is a garbage QB does not mean i hate him. And to say he's even a bottom barrel starting QB in this league is asinine. Great movie, book is better. I am just giving you a hard time. I think Aidan is solid, for a backup. He also seems to be a company man and won't rock the boat because he isn't playing. It remains to be seen if he is a decent fit for Kubiak's offense. A complete house cleaning of the QB room might not be a bad idea either.

When I think of garbage backups Kyle Boller comes to mind. Carson Palmer was a week removed for sitting on his coach and Boller sucked so bad against Kansas City that Action Jackson put Carson in the game.

Let me ask this, too all the AOC sucks and needs to be cut people. Who out there is better than him, available and at the same or similar price? If you’d rather draft a QB, who and what round do you want to take a QB?

O'Connell has cement feet. He moves just like Kerry Collins.

I will say, perfect #3 QB for 26, experience and can give you a game or 2 if needed

Day 3 to UDFA.

Here’s a few guys that may fit Kubiak’s scheme.

4-5 range which I don’t think is happening.
Drew Allar Penn State 6’5”
Cade Klubnik Clemson 6’2”

6-7 range. Mmmmmaybe.
Athan Kaliakmanis Rutgers 6’2”

UDFA range. Makes the most sense if it were to happen.
Mark Gronowski South Dakota State 6’2”
Luke Altmyer Illinois 6’2”

Obviously nothing set in stone. FO may be fine with AOC. Just like they might be fine with the WR room and our OL guys drafted last year. No way of knowing until the draft.

Tough to know what AOC really is because of the turnover with coaches and OC's he's had. He might be a good serviceable QB IF he was in the same system for a year or two.

Geno looked like starter material when with the Seahawks but ass with the Raiders
Jimmy looked like starter material with the Niners but ass with the Raiders
Minchew looked serviceable with other teams but looked like ass with the Raiders
AOC looked not so good with the Raiders in that time span.

AOC was drafted by a shit franchise who did him no favors in developing him as a QB.

nobody hate aoc he just doesnt fit what kubiak wants, so it time to go
