If Pete was making the calls on who to pick, why didn't Spytek ask him what the fck was he doing picking a WR with the second pick when we need road graders for our RB? Then they pick two o-linemen up in the 3rd and they're nowhere close to being NFL ready? This proves to me that someone had no idea what they were doing in the draft. If it was Pete, he needs to go. If it was Spytek, he needs to go.
Definitely agree, we supposedly have a shit load of cap and I’d spend about 35-40% on the Oline.Rabidraider wrote: Sun Nov 23, 2025 7:32 pm A QB would be nice, but without at least middle of the road type of oline, the QB's will get killed and we will have the same result. Must concentrate on the lines and build out. No other way.
Our draft would of looked EXACTLY the same if Telesco was here with Pete Carroll. As i mentioned to you, this was Pete's draft. He's running the show.Sloth_Fratelli wrote: Sun Nov 23, 2025 6:31 pm If anyone deserved a 2nd year it was Telesco. This draft ain’t showing jack squat. Beach hasn’t flashed & Jeanty is nowhere near a Robinson or Barkley. Membou would’ve been the pick if Telesco was here.
He’s truly thankful he’s a Brown instead of a “Raider.”
...been a fan since early 70's when we lost the big games, but were always a factor. ...uniforms, cast of characters, disheveled Madden prowling the sidelines, the whole below sea level grass turf stadium filled with fans wearing black, and football, in general, in the 70's, when everyone played because they loved the game.Raidersman321 wrote: Sun Nov 23, 2025 4:43 pm Used to be a time I would watch the Raiders regardless of their record. I stayed through the mid 2000s disasters, knowing Al Davis was fcking lost and destroying us. Stayed with the team through the Dennis Allen tenure (which was a disaster). Watched the entirety of the 52-0 schlacking from the Rams. And then endured the garbage that Josh McDaniels brought.
Last few years, I have cared less and less about watching the games. I didn't watch a minute of today. Just no reason to spend any time watching a garbage product. If management doesn't care, we shouldn't either. I'm trying my best to raise my twins to be Raiders fans, but I doubt they'll be fans. You can hardly call the Raiders an NFL team. They certainly aren't operating like an NFL organization. It has to be one of the most incompetent professional franchises in the world.
