If Carr can learn how to do a pump fake and a great play action fake hand off it would help him tremendously.
He's like that lady from that old Windex commercial who says, "I don't do windows" despite the fact that she's a cleaning lady. And Carr won't learn these little things despite the fact he gets paid $20 million a year as an NFL quarterback.

Might add several (more) fumbles to his resume.

Did I just defend Derek??? :mindblown:

When Carr fans tilt, the posts look like they were written with letters cut out of magazines.

I do like the one posters method of reaching way-back for stat comparison though. Just used it to tell my wife that compared to men in the 1300’s, I’m probably Top 5 handsomest man in the world.
Let's see if we're all happy about that fact at this time next year. Including yourself.
That's all I can do at this point. So we'll see. I do have the hopefulness of newness going on at the moment.

Did I just defend Derek??? :mindblown:
Derek Carr's hand is 9-1/8" - Burrows - 9" Mahomes - 9-1/4". Does 1/8" +/- make a difference?
We always blame the defense for Carr. How about blaming Carr for the defense? Those constant 3 and outs and stalled drives sure don't help.
Also have to include how he can put up yards between the 20’s then stall out settling for field goals. It keeps the games close and the defense rarely gets to just pin their ears back and rush the passer because they’re down too many scores to attempt to run the ball. Carr doesn’t throw a lot of touchdowns.

Did I just defend Derek??? :mindblown:
Maybe his gopher balls were actually attempted pump fakes?

I'd like McDaniels/Ziegler to try and resign Mariota with an opportunity to fight for the starting job.

Let Carr play out his contract and if he miracoulusly improves his fundamentals and fumbling issue and helps elevate the team, franchise tag him.

I'd like for the Raiders to trade Carr for picks, but I doubt they will.

Well, fear of contact plays a part also.
