2026 Draft - Raiders & all teams (April 23-25)
Obvious Mendoza #1 no consideration of trading that pick.
But who you got picks 2 - 4 thats going to help Mendoza.
#2 Raiders should be able to select WR Chris Bell or WR KC Concepcion with our early 2nd.
#3 I forget who it was, but someone here mentioned that the best pure dominant RT coming out of college could be got in the 3rd. And stated hes played his whole career at RT, and not being moved around the line.
Sounds like solid gets
Id hope the rest of the draft is building the trenches, with maybe 1 DB in there
Who else you like ?

Not a fan of Corleone, he is going to have to be monitored way too much because he is not dedicated to keeping his body in shape. Short armed guy so if his one good move fails he struggles. It would be a bad move to take him in the third. He is a mid 4th guy in my opinion.CWood24 wrote: Tue Mar 17, 2026 8:32 am I have no issue with going OL but i do think the D is a good NT away from atleast being solid which will help Mendoza just as much
I also look at IOL & think those 4th round picks could yield a potential starter or at least some depth at OG a guy like Beau Stephens has some real potential to work in a Kubiak ran offence
If we go tackle in the 2nd then Max Iheanachor looks like the perfect fit for Kubiak, a big monster with great movement ability which would work perfectly in Kubiak’s zone scheme
1st Fernando Mendoza QB
2nd Max Iheanachor RT
3rd Donrtay Corleone NT
If it went this way i’d be happy, i did want Jacob Rodriguez in the 2nd but with the way we attacked LB in FA i wouldn't complain about OT there even though i did want a vet RT
Caleb Banks is an intriguing prospect with his broken foot there are talks of him being there day 3, i know it is a foot injury but throwing one of those 4th at the potential of getting a monster 3-4 DE

Lee Hunter from Texas Tech at NT. Pocket collapser && run stopper. Likely has to be snagged with that 36 pick as he's gone otherwise before the next. Banks is inconsistent and doesn't keep good pad level/leverage with how tall he is. Plus has a broken foot and already had a foot injury during the season.
I'd rather a NT like Hunter over a corner in the 2nd. The Raiders have taken so many db's in the first few rounds and they've been burned over and over again. A good tackle prospect would be very hard to pass up at 36, even if I have high hopes for Charles Grant/love Kolton Miller

Im not interested in 300+ pound guy who has broken his foot twice in the past year. Maybe in 6th or 7th

Pat Coogan on day 3 would be great. He has a high floor and played in a zone scheme at Indiana. Can compete for guard and be the backup center. Familiar with Mendoza is a plus

What is Banks rehab? Will the team drafting him IR him for the 1st season? That would be worth the risk of our 4th round comp pick or 5th round pick.

honestly id take a shot at caleb banks if he fell past the 4th rd ...we need 2 big baddies clogging shit up on defense, so 2nd rd nt, 3 rd safety ,4th rd guard makes a lot of sense

Banks injury is worrisome but, his talent is elite DT. I don’t think he falls past the second round. I’d still consider him there. Obviously depending on the medicals. I’d likely take him the 3rd &, no way would I pass him up in the 4th. I do wonder how far he’ll drop.

My question is can jj peguese be a NT at least depth. Figure our dc would know more than we would being his defensive line coach last year. But at 6'2 and 325 it's possible

Zero tech guys usually hold double teams to stuff the run. Not really asked to pass rush although that is nice when you get one who can. Ideally, that guy is a bit bigger but not always, the secret sauce is sheer power. Right now he would not be that guy to me. Not saying he cannot but I think we really need to look elsewhere. He is probably a backup NT but not my favorite option.vtraider wrote: Tue Mar 17, 2026 1:12 pm My question is can jj peguese be a NT at least depth. Yeah as it stands right this moment I would only consider him as depth there. But I guess it just depends what our dc feels. Same with Grant and Rogers. We really have no idea what they think of any of them. The coaching staff could see them all as starters. We really won't know until the draftAttyla wrote: Tue Mar 17, 2026 1:26 pm Zero tech guys usually hold double teams to stuff the run. Exactly what I’m thinking we’ll see. (Miller and Iheananchor are also good gets and scheme fits in the 2nd)
1st Pick: Let’s F’n Go Mendo
2nd Pick: Pregnon
3rd Pick: Big Orange

I think with only 1 or 2 QBs going in the first they need to move up to get a inpact starting DT. Everyone after Peter Woods is meh.
Thats my e-valve at DT.

If we needed a penetrating pass-rushing DT, I’d agree. Thankfully we’re now more in the market for a massive plug/occupy/crush the middle type. For that we have a few excellent possibilities in Big Orange, Jackson Jr., and The Godfather.KillerRaider30 wrote: Tue Mar 17, 2026 5:20 pm I think with only 1 or 2 QBs going in the first they need to move up to get a inpact starting DT. Personally I’d like Big Orange in the 3rd and Godfather in the 4th to give Big Orange the occasional breather when necessary yet not take too big a step-back talent-wise.
