I guess quite a few of you should be prepared to be upset, angry or to quit the team as you threaten to do because it really seems like Carr is going absolutely nowhere.
Who is this addressed to?
As of right now I agree he is going nowhere. End of this season we could very well have a new coach and/or GM.
It’s also possible we keep him.
Point being nothing is set in stone these days.

I'm not saying we will move on from him, but the future is less certain.

the raiders need to take a good hard look why carr not doing well in november and december
there is a pattern for the last 3 years, you can look at 2015 and 2017 where carr falling apart in the 2nd half of the season too
6-4 record, finish 1-5
6-3 record, finish 2-5
5-2 record, so far 0-1
if we can't get in the playoffs this year after 5-2 mark, then carr gotta go
But we were told Carr being bad in the cold months was false and just made up? Now, more than ever is the best time for a total rebuild. New coaching staff, new QB, new GM, etc. 8 seasons and its right in front of us, he is what he is.
Trade him and whoever for draft picks and rebuild. Maybe a dumb team like Giants or WFT will give a 2nd or if really lucky a 1st.

I am disappointed that we had a chance and reached down in our guts and found nothing. No one could rise above the events of the last three weeks

No doubt yesterday's loss is on Carr, he stunk it up when it really counted. I'm not going to dwell on it too much. This team has been through a lot of BS lately and they still showed up yesterday on the east coast with 450yds on offense and the defense gave them plenty of chances to win this game by playing very good. Carr was due a stinker and yesterday was it. I don't know who the hell is calling the shots in the RZ but this isn't a new problem and needs to be addressed, it's like they can move the ball on anyone until short yardage comes and then it's a totally different team. They need to start throwing out what consistently isn't working in those short yards to go/RZ and be more creative. Capitalize better on the RZ visits and Carr protecting the ball better we should be ok next game.

The rest of the team did enough to win the game...
(Edit) Carr simply IMO choked. He wanted to lead the team to a victory & failed miserably against a bad team. This wasn't a total team melt-down like Atlanta last yr. It was one player....
I must have missed it. Where were the David Carr tweets about the game??

Carr gets a pass this week. He's been spectacular at times this year and I think it's safe to say that Gruden's scripted bullshit and micromanaging hurt the entire offense.
So okay.
This coming Sunday though is going to determine the season. I know it's early to be saying that, but against the Chiefs, in our house, with the division being up for grabs, and with KC struggling in every respect, this is a must win game. We absolutely have to have this one. We can win this game and we should win it.
I'm not going to predict anything, but if Carr lays an egg like he did against the Giants, then yeah, it's time to begin thinking about going in a different direction. It's the 4th year of this "era" and if we're not playoff bound, then tear it down and start over.

Who dropped a sure TD in the endzone? Who missed a block that ensured the loss. Who threw bad passes? That's 3 different guys and all of them on the offense as a quick example. Yes, it was not the best game and we lost but calling the season over and/or acting like one guy was the reason for that loss is madness or agenda shopping at worst.

It's the nature of the position of QB that they have more impact on wins and losses than other players. He was so damn good in the previous game, and has been very good this year, but did not play well in this one, and it was a number of plays from him that cost us a lot. Hopefully he gets back to his prior standard because the D was good and the running game was moving. Maybe someday we'll have it all on the same day. Beat the Chiefs

There is more than one post here where its stated that everyone else played well but Carr caused the loss...which again I said earlier is madness.
