Raiders host the Cowboys on MNF game thread
For some reason the Raiders are on Monday Night football yet again this season.
This time they are hosting the Cowboys. A team that is also struggling this season.
I would love to see Jerry’s face if his team loses in a Staduim he made happen,

I am beginning to worry that the criticism I read about Jeanty before the draft is coming true -- that his breaking of tackles and juking people out of their shoes won't translate to the NFL. A long ways to go and he is running behind a crude line, but still, it does not look good right now.Opoponax50 wrote: Mon Nov 17, 2025 9:11 pm At this point it's hard to argue against that. We drafted two IOL, our "veterans" are complete ass, and our OC is afraid to call running plays because he knows they're hopeless. Put the rookies in and give Mostart more carries so that the chance of Jeanty getting hurt in these impossible circumstances is lessened.
One thing about Jeanty though: his techniques are often poor. When a hole isn't there, he hesitates and tries to go any way but forward. I don't think it's fair to lay much blame on him though. Our O-line is piss poor. I'm just saying he can be better than what he is now.

Horrible technique/effort from him on the safety. I agree with you that the OL is horrible, but nobody gets a pass on this team - they're all horrible.Opoponax50 wrote: Mon Nov 17, 2025 9:11 pm One thing about Jeanty though: his techniques are often poor. Jeanty had zero chance on that safety.

He's been getting hit behind the line of scrimmage consistently all year. Running him really shouldn't have been an option. Then again Geno crapping his pants against a blitz in the endzone would have resulted in the same thing.

This piece of shit Geno just adds to the deficit with his fcking braindead decisions on every series

Yeah, mind boggling after running it 3 times all game at the point that we draw up a run at the 1 inch line with a practice squad oline. I think everyone knew a run there was a safety, except Chip.

Carr also had good to great offensive lines with 70% of the teams resources spent on the offense. I'm tired of comparing bowls of excrement. One might stink more but they are both shit.

Bech is averaging 11.5 yards a reception..raiderjohn wrote: Mon Nov 17, 2025 8:15 pm So Bech got 1 token target on the first play. Carroll and Chip hate rookies.
Receptions: 8
Receiving Yards: 92
Average Yards per Reception: 11.5
Receiving Touchdowns: 0
Longest Reception: 23 yards
You draft a WR at 2nd and he has less than 100 yards..

What blitz? They didn’t have to blitz.Oaktownonly wrote: Tue Nov 18, 2025 9:05 am He's been getting hit behind the line of scrimmage consistently all year. He had a chance to get out of the end zone, but he literally stopped when he saw a defender in the gap. Looks to me like he was thinking about a jump cut, but you can't do that in the end zone. He needs to be aware of the situation, get lower, and drive himself out of the end zone. He get much, but he could have avoided a safety.
Don't get me wrong, the blocking was predictably abysmal, and it was a horrible call given how predictable that was, but nobody gets a pass.
