The NFL Conference Champs Game Day Thread (AKA The Raiders Coach Game)

Unread post by Attyla »

Here it is fellas, the final game before the big game. Who you got, what is ideal for the Raiders and are there free agents playing that you like for us next year. Popcorn at the ready, beer in your hand. I have some Blue Moon on hand. What are you making to enjoy the game? I am making a simple chicken and rice. Weather here is horrible so I Amazon Fresh'd my menu for the week so that I did not have to rush to the store. Ah the joy of winter.

I guess I will go with:
Pats vs Rams for the final game. But anyone other than the Broncos is absolutely fine. I like Stafford, I don't mind Maye. Vrabel getting a crack at another ring after TN dumped him would be justice in my mind for that bitch Amy Adams. And yea, everyone I know around here hates that....female body part....lol

He mugged him. There is no conspiracy here. No matter how hard you try.

Either way, no need to make that call.

Well, if the Raiders don't have a coach in the next two weeks we know who they want.

I know I'm Captain Obvious.

Doesn't matter. When comparing the decision to sign a younger Darnold without giving up a pick and trading for Geno, the no brainer call was Darnold. I acknowledged the risk with bringing Darnold here but my argument was he was young enough to build around. But yes, i am happy we are ending up with Mendoza so its all irrelevant.

We win 4 games with Darnold and miss out on Mendoza

the point in calling defensive holding is because the foul prevents the player from the opportunity to get open, and if he's open and available to the passer then you don't know what will happen. If you know they aren't gonna call it at the end of the game, then you'd just hold on every play. I was cheering for the Rams, but it was absolutely the right call.

Huntsville Alabama...North Ala, we didn't get any snow, but had 50 plus winds this morning that caused a lot of damage!! And of course our moron news stations had everyone fear mongering about snow & ice all week & the wind did the damage

Exactly. It happens a lot in every game every week of football but they don't call it on every play. It's called selective officiating.

Yep.... this worked out for the best.

Road tripped through Alabama last year and made a few impromptu stops throughout, it was the first time I've been in that state. Surprised at how much I liked it

I'm on the north side of the county. Kind of halfway between pigeon forge and Knoxville very rarely do I go that direction

There’s possibly a bunch of QBs that could have turned out to be good if they would have been given another chance or been around better coaching/environments instead of being labeled complete busts.

I like Darnold and root for him. Hope he smashes the Patsies.
