when we drafted washington i thought he was just like charbs in many ways but more explosive but i could not see jeanty in the walker role cause he was a plodding type rbGoodTimeCharlie wrote: Sun Nov 01, 2026 6:27 pm I think Coach K needed to get to a point of trusting Washington. After today’s game I assume he’ll run things like he did in Seattle with Walker/Charbonnet from now on. We just didn’t know Washington was gonna be cast in the Walker role.
In campy Jeanty went down in such a fashion that the team took to one knee. I almost wonder if it would have been better for him to go on IR. Not just for us but for his career trajectory. Playing hurt is a thankless endeavor, putting bad tape out there while not being 100% has really made folks forget about his first 17 games.Xramfan wrote: Mon Nov 02, 2026 10:05 am Funny Jeanty with a crap Oline last year had over 1,000 yards most of which came after contact at or before the LOS.
This year game 1 he looked sharp but then the following games he appears limping and stiff and not explosive
I’ll hold off on the “bust” nonsense and presume he simply has been injured and should have been benched a few games ago to heal. Playing hurt, which he is, is doing him and the Raiders no favors.
I’ll wait until he is recovered to see how he does and judge accordingly.
